| 1 | Doth not wisdom cry aloud, and prudence put forth her voice? | Doesn’t wisdom cry out? Doesn’t understanding raise her voice? |

| 3 | Beside the gates of the city, in the very doors she speaketh, saying: | bên cổng dẫn vào thành,nơi lối đi tới cửa thành, Đức Khôn Ngoan kêu to: | παρὰ γὰρ πύλαις δυναστῶν παρεδρεύει, ἐν δὲ εἰσόδοις ὑμνεῖται | לְיַד שְׁעָרִ֥ים לְפִי קָ֑רֶת מְב֖וֹא פְתָחִ֣ים תָּרֹֽנָּה | juxta portas civitatis, in ipsis foribus loquitur, dicens: | Beside the gates, at the entry of the city, at the entry doors, she cries aloud: |
| 4 | O ye men, to you I call, and my voice is to the sons of men. | “I call to you men! I send my voice to the sons of mankind. |
| 5 | O little ones, understand subtilty, and ye unwise, take notice. | You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart! |

The opening of my lips is for right things. |
| 7 | My mouth shall meditate truth, and my lips shall hate wickedness. | Miệng ta nói sự thật, môi ta ghê tởm chuyện gian tà. | For my mouth speaks truth. | 10 | Receive my instruction, and not money: choose knowledge rather than gold. | Hãy đón nhận lời nghiêm huấn của ta quý hơn cả bạc,hãy đón nhận tri thức quý hơn vàng ròng. | λάβετε παιδείαν καὶ μὴ ἀργύριον, καὶ γνῶσιν ὑπὲρ χρυσίον δεδοκιμασμένον· | קְחֽוּ מוּסָרִ֥י וְאַל כָּ֑סֶף וְ֝דַ֗עַת מֵחָר֥וּץ נִבְחָֽר | Accipite disciplinam meam, et non pecuniam; doctrinam magis quam aurum eligite: | Receive my instruction rather than silver, knowledge rather than choice gold. |

When he set a circle on the surface of the deep, |
| 28 | When he established the sky above, and poised the fountains of waters: | khi Người làm cho mây tụ lại ở trên caovà cho các mạch nước vọt lên từ vực thẳm, | καὶ ὡς ἰσχυρὰ ἐποίει τὰ ἄνω νέφη, καὶ ὡς ἀσφαλεῖς ἐτίθει πηγὰς τῆς ὑπ᾽ οὐρανόν, | בְּאַמְּצ֣וֹ שְׁחָקִ֣ים מִמָּ֑עַל בַּ֝עֲז֗וֹז עִינ֥וֹת תְּהוֹם | quando æthera firmabat sursum, et librabat fontes aquarum; | when he established the clouds above, when the springs of the deep became strong, |

| 30 | I was with him forming all things: and was delighted every day, playing before him at all times; | Ta hiện diện bên Người như tay thợ cả.Ngày ngày ta là niềm vui của Người,trước mặt Người, ta không ngớt vui chơi, | ἤμην παρ᾽ αὐτῷ ἁρμόζουσα· ἐγὼ ἤμην ᾗ προσέχαιρεν, καθ᾽ ἡμέραν δὲ εὐφραινόμην ἐν προσώπῳ αὐτοῦ ἐν παντὶ καιρῷ, | וָֽאֶהְיֶ֥ה אֶצְל֗וֹ אָ֫מ֥וֹן וָֽאֶהְיֶ֣ה שַׁ֭עֲשֻׁעִים י֤וֹם י֑וֹם מְשַׂחֶ֖קֶת לְפָנָ֣יו בְּכָל עֵֽת | cum eo eram, cuncta componens.
