The LORD our God has not sent you to say, ‘You shall not go into Egypt to live there;’ |
| 3 | But Baruch the son of Nerias setteth thee on against us, to deliver us into the hands of the Chaldeans, to kill us, and to cause us to be carried away captives to Babylon. | Nhưng chính Ba-rúc, con ông Nê-ri-gia, đã xúi ông chống lại chúng tôi để nộp chúng tôi vào tay quân Can-đê cho chúng tôi bị giết và bị bắt đi đày sang Ba-by-lon.” | ἴσως ἀκούσεται ὁ οἶκος Ἰούδα πάντα τὰ κακὰ ἃ ἐγὼ λογίζομαι ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς, ἵνα ἀποστρέψωσιν ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ αὐτῶν τῆς πονηρᾶς, καὶ ἵλεως ἔσομαι ταῖς ἀδικίαις αὐτῶν καὶ ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτῶν. | כִּ֗י בָּרוּךְ֙ בֶּן נֵ֣רִיָּ֔ה מַסִּ֥ית אֹתְךָ֖ בָּ֑נוּ לְמַעַן֩ תֵּ֨ת אֹתָ֤נוּ בְיַֽד הַכַּשְׂדִּים֙ לְהָמִ֣ית אֹתָ֔נוּ וּלְהַגְל֥וֹת אֹתָ֖נוּ בָּבֶֽל | Sed Baruch filius Neriæ incitat te adversum nos, ut tradat nos in manus Chaldæorum, ut interficiat nos, et traduci faciat in Babylonem. | but Baruch the son of Neriah has turned you against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death or carry us away captive to Babylon.” |
| 4 | So Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the soldiers, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the Lord, to remain in the land of Juda. | Thế là ông Giô-kha-nan con ông Ca-rê-ác và toàn thể các vị chỉ huy quân đội cũng như toàn dân đã không chịu vâng nghe tiếng ĐỨC CHÚA bảo ở lại xứ Giu-đa. | καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Ἰερεμίας τὸν Βαροὺχ υἱὸν Νηρίου, καὶ ἔγραψεν ἀπὸ στόματος Ἰερεμίου πάντας τοὺς λόγους Κυρίου, οὓς ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτόν, εἰς χαρτίον βιβλίου. | וְלֹֽא שָׁמַע֩ יוֹחָנָ֨ן בֶּן קָרֵ֜חַ וְכָל שָׂרֵ֧י הַחֲיָלִ֛ים וְכָל הָעָ֖ם בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בְּאֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָֽה | Et non audivit Johanan filius Caree, et omnes principes bellatorum, et universus populus, vocem Domini, ut manerent in terra Juda. | So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, didn’t obey the LORD’s voice, to dwell in the land of Judah. |
| 5 | But Johanan the son of Caree, and all the captains of the soldiers took all the remnant of Juda, that were returned out of all nations, to which they had before been scattered, to dwell in the land of Juda: | Ông Giô-kha-nan con ông Ca-rê-ác và toàn thể các vị chỉ huy quân đội đã đem tất cả những người Giu-đa còn sót lại, những người đã trở về đất Giu-đa từ khắp mọi dân họ bị xua đến, | καὶ ἐνετείλατο Ἰερεμίας τῷ Βαροὺχ λέγων Ἐγὼ φυλάσσομαι, οὐ μὴ δύνωμαι εἰσελθεῖν εἰς οἶκον Κυρίου. | וַיִּקַּ֞ח יוֹחָנָ֤ן בֶּן קָרֵ֨חַ֙ וְכָל שָׂרֵ֣י הַחֲיָלִ֔ים אֵ֖ת כָּל שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יְהוּדָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר שָׁ֗בוּ מִכָּל הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִדְּחוּ שָׁ֔ם לָג֖וּר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָֽה | Sed tollens Johanan filius Caree, et universi principes bellatorum, universos reliquiarum Juda, qui reversi fuerant de cunctis gentibus ad quas fuerant ante dispersi, ut habitarent in terra Juda, | But Johanan the son of Kareah and all the captains of the forces took all the remnant of Judah, who had returned from all the nations where they had been driven, to live in the land of Judah— |
| 6 | Men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every soul, which Nabuzardan the general had left with Godolias the son of Ahicam the son of Saphan, and Jeremias the prophet, and Baruch the son of Nerias. | đó là đàn ông, đàn bà, con trẻ, các con gái của vua và mọi người mà Nơ-vu-dác-a-đan đã giao phó cho ông Gơ-đan-gia con ông A-khi-cam cháu ông Sa-phan, kể cả ngôn sứ Giê-rê-mi-a lẫn ông Ba-rúc con ông Nê-ri-gia. | καὶ ἀναγνώσῃ ἐν τῷ χαρτίῳ τούτῳ εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ νηστείας, καὶ ἐν ὠσὶ παντὸς Ἰούδα τῶν ἐρχομένων ἐκ πόλεως αὐτῶν ἀναγνώσῃ αὐτοῖς. | אֶֽת הַ֠גְּבָרִים וְאֶת הַנָּשִׁ֣ים וְאֶת הַטַּף֮ וְאֶת בְּנ֣וֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ וְאֵ֣ת כָּל הַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִנִּ֨יחַ֙ נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֣ן רַב טַבָּחִ֔ים אֶת גְּדַלְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן אֲחִיקָ֣ם בֶּן שָׁפָ֑ן וְאֵת֙ יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ הַנָּבִ֔יא וְאֶת בָּר֖וּךְ בֶּן נֵרִיָּֽהוּ | viros, et mulieres, et parvulos, et filias regis, et omnem animam quam reliquerat Nabuzardan princeps militiæ cum Godolia filio Ahicam filii Saphan, et Jeremiam prophetam, et Baruch filium Neriæ: | the men, the women, the children, the king’s daughters, and every person who Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan; and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah. |
| 7 | And they went Into the land of Egypt, for they obeyed not the voice of the Lord: and they came as far as Taphnis. | Vậy họ đã sang đến Ai-cập bởi vì họ không vâng nghe tiếng ĐỨC CHÚA. Họ đến tận Tác-pan-khết. | ἴσως πεσεῖται ἔλεος αὐτῶν κατὰ πρόσωπον Κυρίου, καὶ ἀποστρέψουσιν ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτῶν τῆς πονηρᾶς, ὅτι μέγας ὁ θυμὸς καὶ ἡ ὀργὴ Κυρίου ἣν ἐλάλησεν ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον. | וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֛י לֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ עַד תַּחְפַּנְחֵֽס | et ingressi sunt terram Ægypti, quia non obedierunt voci Domini, et venerunt usque ad Taphnis. | They came into the land of Egypt, for they didn’t obey the LORD’s voice; and they came to Tahpanhes. |
| 8 | And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias in Taphnis, saying: | Bấy giờ có lời ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Giê-rê-mi-a ở Tác-pan-khết rằng: | καὶ ἐποίησεν Βαροὺχ κατὰ πάντα ἃ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ Ἰερεμίας, τοῦ ἀναγνῶναι ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ λόγους Κυρίου ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου. | וַיְהִ֤י דְבַר יְהוָה֙ אֶֽל יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ בְּתַחְפַּנְחֵ֖ס לֵאמֹֽר | Et factus est sermo Domini ad Jeremiam in Taphnis, dicens: | Then the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying, |
| 9 | Take great stones in thy hand, and thou shalt hide them in the vault that is under the brick wall at the gate of Pharao’s house in Taphnis: in the sight of the men of Juda. | Ngươi hãy bê những tảng đá lớn và trước mắt những người Giu-đa, ngươi hãy vùi xuống nền đất pha vữa ở cửa đền Pha-ra-ô tại Tác-pan-khết. | καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ ὀγδόῳ βασιλεῖ Ἰωακεὶμ τῷ μηνὶ τῷ ἐνάτῳ ἐξεκκλησίασαν νηστείαν κατὰ πρόσωπον Κυρίου πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ἐν Ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ οἶκος Ἰούδα. | קַ֣ח בְּיָדְךָ֞ אֲבָנִ֣ים גְּדֹל֗וֹת וּטְמַנְתָּ֤ם בַּמֶּ֨לֶט֙ בַּמַּלְבֵּ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֛ר בְּפֶ֥תַח בֵּית פַּרְעֹ֖ה בְּתַחְפַּנְחֵ֑ס לְעֵינֵ֖י אֲנָשִׁ֥ים יְהוּדִֽים | Sume lapides grandes in manu tua, et abscondes eos in crypta quæ est sub muro latericio in porta domus Pharaonis in Taphnis, cernentibus viris Judæis: | “Take great stones in your hand and hide them in mortar in the brick work which is at the entry of Pharaoh’s house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah. |
| 10 | And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Behold I will send, and take Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon my servant: and I will set his throne over these stones which I have hid, and he shall set his throne over them. | Rồi ngươi hãy nói với chúng: “ĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh, Thiên Chúa Ít-ra-en, phán như sau: Này, Ta sẽ cho vời Na-bu-cô-đô-nô-xo, vua Ba-by-lon, tôi tớ của Ta đến; Ta sẽ đặt ngai vàng của nó bên trên những tảng đá Ta đã vùi đi, và nó sẽ giương lều trên những tảng đá ấy. | καὶ ἀνεγίνωσκε βαροὺχ ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τοὺς λόγους Ἰερεμίου ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου, ἐν οἴκῳ Γαμαρείου υἱοῦ Σαφὰν τοῦ γραμματέως, ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ τῇ ἐπάνω ἐν προθύροις πύλης τοῦ οἴκου Κυρίου τῆς καινῆς καὶ ἐν ὠσὶ παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ. | וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֡ם כֹּֽה אָמַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הִנְנִ֤י שֹׁלֵ֨חַ֙ וְ֠לָקַחְתִּי אֶת נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֤ר מֶֽלֶךְ בָּבֶל֙ עַבְדִּ֔י וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י כִסְא֔וֹ מִמַּ֛עַל לָאֲבָנִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֣ר טָמָ֑נְתִּי וְנָטָ֥ה אֶת שפרורו שַׁפְרִיר֖וֹ עֲלֵיהֶֽם | et dices ad eos: Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Ecce ego mittam et assumam Nabuchodonosor regem Babylonis, servum meum: et ponam thronum ejus super lapides istos quos abscondi, et statuet solium suum super eos: | Tell them, the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his royal pavilion over them. |
| 11 | And he shall come and strike the land of Egypt: such as are for death, to death: and such as are for captivity, to captivity: and such as are for the sword, to the sword. | Nó sẽ đến đánh phá đất Ai-cập:Kẻ nào phải chết thì chết!Kẻ nào phải đi đày thì đi đày!Kẻ nào bị gươm đâm thì bị gươm đâm! | καὶ ἤκουσεν Μειχαίας υἱὸς Γαμαρείου υἱοῦ Σαφὰν ἅπαντας τοὺς λόγους Κυρίου ἐκ τοῦ βιβλίου. | ובאה וּבָ֕א וְהִכָּ֖ה אֶת אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲשֶׁ֧ר לַמָּ֣וֶת לַמָּ֗וֶת וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר לַשְּׁבִי֙ לַשֶּׁ֔בִי וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר לַחֶ֖רֶב לֶחָֽרֶב | veniensque percutiet terram Ægypti, quos in mortem, in mortem, et quos in captivitatem, in captivitatem, et quos in gladium, in gladium: | He will come, and will strike the land of Egypt; such as are for death will be put to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword. |
| 12 | And he shall kindle a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them, and he shall carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment: and he shall go forth from thence in peace. | Nó sẽ châm lửa đốt các đền thờ thần Ai-cập; nó sẽ thiêu huỷ và đưa chúng đi đày, nó sẽ quấn lấy đất Ai-cập giống như người mục tử lấy áo mà quấn vào mình, rồi nó sẽ ra khỏi đó bình an. | καὶ κατέβη εἰς οἰκίαν τοῦ βασιλέως, εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ γραμματέως, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐκεῖ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες ἐκάθηντο, Ἐλεισαμὰ ὁ γραμματεὺς καὶ Δαλαίας υἱὸς Σελεμίου καὶ Ἰωναθὰν υἱὸς Ἀκχοβὼρ καὶ Γαμαρίας υἱὸς Σαφὰν καὶ Σεδεκίας υἱὸς Ἁνανίου καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες, | וְהִצַּ֣תִּי אֵ֗שׁ בְּבָתֵּי֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם וּשְׂרָפָ֖ם וְשָׁבָ֑ם וְעָטָה֩ אֶת אֶ֨רֶץ מִצְרַ֜יִם כַּאֲשֶׁר יַעְטֶ֤ה הָֽרֹעֶה֙ אֶת בִּגְד֔וֹ וְיָצָ֥א מִשָּׁ֖ם בְּשָׁלֽוֹם | et succendet ignem in delubris deorum Ægypti, et comburet ea, et captivos ducet illos, et amicietur terra Ægypti sicut amicitur pastor pallio suo, et egredietur inde in pace: | I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt. He will burn them, and carry them away captive. He will array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he will go out from there in peace. |
| 13 | And he shall break the statues of the house of the sun, that are in the land of Egypt; and the temples of the gods of Egypt he shall burn with fire. | Nó sẽ đập nát các trụ đá của Bết Se-mét trong xứ Ai-cập và thiêu huỷ các đền thờ thần Ai-cập. | καὶ ἀνήγγειλεν αὐτοῖς Μειχαίας πάντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς ἤκουσεν ἀναγινώσκοντος Βαροὺχ εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ. | וְשִׁבַּ֗ר אֶֽת מַצְּבוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְאֶת בָּתֵּ֥י אֱלֹהֵֽי מִצְרַ֖יִם יִשְׂרֹ֥ף בָּאֵֽשׁ | et conteret statuas domus solis quæ sunt in terra Ægypti, et delubra deorum Ægypti comburet igni. | He will also break the pillars of Beth Shemesh that is in the land of Egypt; and he will burn the houses of the gods of Egypt with fire.’” |
