| 2 | The Lord hath commanded thee, my lord, that thou shouldst divide the land by lot to the children of Israel, and that thou shouldst give to the daughters of Salphaad our brother the possession due to their father: | mà rằng: “ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền lệnh cho đức ông phải dùng lối bắt thăm mà chia đất cho con cái Ít-ra-en làm gia nghiệp. My lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters. |
| 3 | Now if men of another tribe take them to wives, their possession will follow them, and being transferred to another tribe, will be a diminishing of our inheritance. | Mà nếu các cô này lấy chồng thuộc các chi tộc con cái Ít-ra-en, gia nghiệp của họ sẽ bị xén khỏi gia nghiệp cha ông chúng tôi. So it will be taken away from the lot of our inheritance. |
| 4 | And so it shall come to pass, that when the jubilee, that is, the fiftieth year of remission, is come, the distribution made by the lots shall be confounded, and the possession of the one shall pass to the others. | Đến lúc con cái Ít-ra-en mừng năm toàn xá, gia nghiệp của họ sẽ nhập vào gia nghiệp của chi tộc mà họ là thành viên, và sẽ bị xén khỏi gia nghiệp của chi tộc cha ông chúng tôi.” | ἐὰν δὲ γένηται ἡ ἄφεσις τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, καὶ προστεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες, καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς κληρονομίας φυλῆς πατριᾶς ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν. | וְאִם יִהְיֶ֣ה הַיֹּבֵל֮ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וְנֽוֹסְפָה֙ נַחֲלָתָ֔ן עַ֚ל נַחֲלַ֣ת הַמַּטֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּהְיֶ֖ינָה לָהֶ֑ם וּמִֽנַּחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ יִגָּרַ֖ע נַחֲלָתָֽן | Atque ita fiet, ut cum jubilæus, id est, quinquagesimus annus remissionis advenerit, confundatur sortium distributio, et aliorum possessio ad alios transeat. | When the jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they shall belong. So their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.” |
| 5 | Moses answered the children of Israel, and said by the command of the Lord: The tribe of the children of Joseph hath spoken rightly. | Theo lệnh của ĐỨC CHÚA, ông Mô-sê truyền cho con cái Ít-ra-en rằng: “Chi tộc con cái ông Giu-se nói đúng. | καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ διὰ προστάγματος Κυρίου λέγων Οὕτως φυλὴ υἱῶν Ἰωσὴφ λέγουσιν. | וַיְצַ֤ו מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַל פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר כֵּ֛ן מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי יוֹסֵ֖ף דֹּבְרִֽים | Respondit Moyses filiis Israël, et Domino præcipiente ait: Recte tribus filiorum Joseph locuta est. | Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the LORD’s word, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph speak what is right. |
| 6 | And this is the law promulgated by the Lord touching the daughters of Salphaad: Let them marry to whom they will, only so that it be to men of their own tribe. | Đây là điều ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền về các con gái ông Xơ-lóp-khát: chúng sẽ lấy người vừa mắt chúng, nhưng chỉ được lấy người thuộc thị tộc trong chi tộc của cha chúng. | τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ συνέταξεν Κύριος ταῖς θυγατράσιν Σαλπαὰδ λέγων Οὗ ἀρέσκει ἐναντίον αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες, πλὴν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες. | זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֗ה לִבְנ֤וֹת צְלָפְחָד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה לְנָשִׁ֑ים אַ֗ךְ לְמִשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אֲבִיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֥ינָה לְנָשִֽׁים | Et hæc lex super filiabus Salphaad a Domino promulgata est: nubant quibus volunt, tantum ut suæ tribus hominibus: | This is the thing which the LORD commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, ‘Let them be married to whom they think best, only they shall marry into the family of the tribe of their father. |
| 7 | Lest the possession of the children of Israel be mingled from tribe to tribe. For all men shall marry wives of their own tribe and kindred: | Như thế, gia nghiệp con cái Ít-ra-en sẽ không chuyển từ chi tộc này sang chi tộc khác, nhưng mỗi người con cái Ít-ra-en sẽ gắn bó với gia nghiệp của chi tộc cha ông mình. | καὶ οὐχὶ περιστραφήσεται κληρονομία τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ ἀπὸ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλήν, ὅτι ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ τῆς φυλῆς τῆς πατριᾶς αὐτοῦ καὶ προσκολληθήσονται υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ. | וְלֹֽא תִסֹּ֤ב נַחֲלָה֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִמַּטֶּ֖ה אֶל מַטֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י אִ֗ישׁ בְּנַחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתָ֔יו יִדְבְּק֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | ne commisceatur possessio filiorum Israël de tribu in tribum. Omnes enim viri ducent uxores de tribu et cognatione sua: | So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel move from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers. |
| 8 | And all women shall take husbands of the same tribe: that the inheritance may remain in the families, | Trong các chi tộc con cái Ít-ra-en, người con gái nào hưởng gia nghiệp, thì phải lấy chồng thuộc một trong các thị tộc của chi tộc cha mình, để mỗi người trong con cái Ít-ra-en giữ được gia nghiệp cha ông mình. | καὶ πᾶσα θυγάτηρ ἀγχιστεύουσα κληρονομίαν ἐκ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, ἑνὶ τῶν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς ἔσονται γυναῖκες, ἵνα ἀγχιστεύσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἕκαστος τὴν κληρονομίαν τὴν πατρικήν· | וְכָל בַּ֞ת יֹרֶ֣שֶׁת נַחֲלָ֗ה מִמַּטּוֹת֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לְאֶחָ֗ד מִמִּשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אָבִ֖יהָ תִּהְיֶ֣ה לְאִשָּׁ֑ה לְמַ֗עַן יִֽירְשׁוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִ֖ישׁ נַחֲלַ֥ת אֲבֹתָֽיו | et cunctæ feminæ de eadem tribu maritos accipient: ut hæreditas permaneat in familiis, | Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may each possess the inheritance of his fathers. |
| 9 | And that the tribes be not mingled one with another, but remain so | Không gia nghiệp nào được chuyển từ chi tộc này sang chi tộc khác, nhưng mỗi chi tộc con cái Ít-ra-en sẽ gắn bó với gia nghiệp của mình.” | καὶ οὐ περιστραφήσεται κλῆρος ἐκ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλὴν ἑτέραν, ἀλλὰ ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ. | וְלֹֽא תִסֹּ֧ב נַחֲלָ֛ה מִמַּטֶּ֖ה לְמַטֶּ֣ה אַחֵ֑ר כִּי אִישׁ֙ בְּנַ֣חֲלָת֔וֹ יִדְבְּק֕וּ מַטּ֖וֹת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | nec sibi misceantur tribus, sed ita maneant | So shall no inheritance move from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.’” |
| 10 | As they were separated by the Lord. And the daughters of Salphaad did as was commanded: | Các con gái ông Xơ-lóp-khát làm đúng như ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho ông Mô-sê: | ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν Κύριος Μωυσῇ, οὕτως ἐποίησαν θυγατέρες Σαλπαάδ· | כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת מֹשֶׁ֑ה כֵּ֥ן עָשׂ֖וּ בְּנ֥וֹת צְלָפְחָֽד | ut a Domino separatæ sunt. Feceruntque filiæ Salphaad ut fuerat imperatum: | The daughters of Zelophehad did as the LORD commanded Moses: |
| 11 | And Maala, and Thersa, and Hegla, and Melcha, and Noa were married to the sons of their uncle by their father, | Mác-la, Tia-xa, Khoóc-la, Min-ca và Nô-a, là những con gái ông Xơ-lóp-khát, lấy các con trai của chú bác. | καὶ ἐγένοντο Θερσὰ καὶ Ἑγλὰ καὶ Μελχὰ καὶ Νουὰ καὶ Μααλὰ θυγατέρες Σαλπαὰδ τοῖς ἀνεψιοῖς αὐτῶν· | וַתִּהְיֶ֜ינָה מַחְלָ֣ה תִרְצָ֗ה וְחָגְלָ֧ה וּמִלְכָּ֛ה וְנֹעָ֖ה בְּנ֣וֹת צְלָפְחָ֑ד לִבְנֵ֥י דֹדֵיהֶ֖ן לְנָשִֽׁים | et nupserunt Maala, et Thersa, et Hegla, et Melcha, et Noa, filiis patrui sui | for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons. |
| 12 | Of the family of Manasses, who was the son of Joseph: and the possession that had been allotted to them, remained in the tribe and family of their father. | Họ đã lấy người thuộc các thị tộc con cái ông Mơ-na-se, con ông Giu-se, và như thế gia nghiệp của họ vẫn thuộc về thị tộc trong chi tộc cha họ. | ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Μανασσὴ υἱῶν Ἰωσὴφ ἐγενήθησαν γυναῖκες· καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν. | מִֽמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֛ת בְּנֵֽי מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה בֶן יוֹסֵ֖ף הָי֣וּ לְנָשִׁ֑ים וַתְּהִי֙ נַחֲלָתָ֔ן עַל מַטֵּ֖ה מִשְׁפַּ֥חַת אֲבִיהֶֽן | de familia Manasse, qui fuit filius Joseph: et possessio, quæ illis fuerat attributa, mansit in tribu et familia patris earum. | They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph. Their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father. |
| 13 | These are the commandments and judgments, which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses to the children of Israel, in the plains of Moab upon the Jordan over against Jericho. | Đó là những mệnh lệnh và luật lệ ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho con cái Ít-ra-en qua trung gian ông Mô-sê, trong vùng thảo nguyên Mô-áp, gần sông Gio-đan, đối diện với Giê-ri-khô. | αὗται αἱ ἐντολαὶ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλατο Κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ ἐπὶ δυσμῶν Μωὰβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου κατὰ Ἰερειχώ. | אֵ֣לֶּה הַמִּצְוֺ֞ת וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה בְּיַד מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּעַֽרְבֹ֣ת מוֹאָ֔ב עַ֖ל יַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵחֽוֹ | Hæc sunt mandata atque judicia, quæ mandavit Dominus per manum Moysi ad filios Israël, in campestribus Moab supra Jordanem contra Jericho. | These are the commandments and the ordinances which the LORD commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho. |
