| 3 | Now the children of Israel departed from Ramesses the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the phase, with a mighty hand, in the eight of all the Egyptians, | Họ rời Ram-xết lên đường vào tháng giêng, ngày rằm tháng giêng. Hôm sau lễ Vượt Qua, con cái Ít-ra-en ra đi ngang nhiên trước mắt toàn dân Ai-cập, | ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ῥαμεσσὴ τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πρώτῳ, τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ πρώτου· τῇ ἐπαύριον τοῦ πάσχα ἐξῆλθον οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἐν χειρὶ ὑψηλῇ ἐναντίον πάντων τῶν Αἰγυπτίων· | וַיִּסְע֤וּ מֵֽרַעְמְסֵס֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר י֖וֹם לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן מִֽמָּחֳרַ֣ת הַפֶּ֗סַח יָצְא֤וּ בְנֵֽי יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּיָ֣ד רָמָ֔ה לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל מִצְרָֽיִם | Profecti igitur de Ramesse mense primo, quintadecima die mensis primi, altera die Phase, filii Israël in manu excelsa, videntibus cunctis Ægyptiis, | They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians, |
| 4 | Who were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had slain (upon their gods also he had executed vengeance,) | trong khi dân Ai-cập lo chôn cất người nhà của chúng đã bị ĐỨC CHÚA đánh phạt, nghĩa là mọi con trai đầu lòng. The LORD also executed judgments on their gods. |

| 8 | And departing from Phihahiroth, they passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and having marched three days through the desert of Etham, they camped in Mara. | Họ lên đường rời Pi Ha-khi-rốt, đi qua biển mà vào sa mạc; họ đi ba ngày đường trong sa mạc Ê-tham, rồi đóng trại ở Ma-ra. | καὶ ἀπῆραν ἀπέναντι Εἱρὼθ καὶ διέβησαν μέσον τῆς θαλάσσης εἰς τὴν ἔρημον· καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὁδὸν τριῶν ἡμερῶν διὰ τῆς ἐρήμου καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Πικρίαις. | וַיִּסְעוּ֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הַֽחִירֹ֔ת וַיַּֽעַבְר֥וּ בְתוֹךְ הַיָּ֖ם הַמִּדְבָּ֑רָה וַיֵּ֨לְכ֜וּ דֶּ֣רֶךְ שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת יָמִים֙ בְּמִדְבַּ֣ר אֵתָ֔ם וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּמָרָֽה | Profectique de Phihahiroth, transierunt per medium mare in solitudinem: et ambulantes tribus diebus per desertum Etham, castrametati sunt in Mara. | They traveled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah. |
| 9 | And departing from Mara, they came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees: and there they camped. | Họ lên đường rời Ma-ra tới Ê-lim. In Elim, there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there. |
| 10 | But departing from thence also, they pitched their tents by the Red Sea. Profectique de mari Rubro, | They traveled from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea. |
| 11 | They camped in the desert of Sin. | Họ lên đường rời Biển Sậy và đóng trại gần sa mạc Xin. | καὶ ἀπῆραν ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἐρυθρᾶς καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Σείν· | וַיִּסְע֖וּ מִיַּם ס֑וּף וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּמִדְבַּר סִֽין | castrametati sunt in deserto Sin. | They traveled from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin. |
| 12 | And they removed from thence, and came to Daphca. | Họ lên đường rời sa mạc Xin và đóng trại ở Đốp-ca. | καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ τῆς ἐρήμου Σεὶν καὶ παρενέβαλον εἰς Ῥαφακά· | וַיִּסְע֖וּ מִמִּדְבַּר סִ֑ין וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּדָפְקָֽה | Unde egressi, venerunt in Daphca. | They traveled from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah. |
| 13 | And departing from Daphca, they camped in Alus. | Họ lên đường rời Đốp-ca và đóng trại ở A-lút. | καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐκ Ῥαφακὰ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Αἰλείμ· | וַיִּסְע֖וּ מִדָּפְקָ֑ה וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ בְּאָלֽוּשׁ | Profectique de Daphca, castrametati sunt in Alus. | They traveled from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush. |
| 14 | And departing from Alus, they pitched their tents in Raphidim, where the people wanted water to drink. | Họ lên đường rời A-lút và đóng trại ở Rơ-phi-đim; tại đó không có nước cho dân uống. | καὶ ἀπῆραν ἐξ Αἰλεὶμ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν Ῥαφιδείν, καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὕδωρ τῷ λαῷ πιεῖν ἐκεῖ. | וַיִּסְע֖וּ מֵאָל֑וּשׁ וַֽיַּחֲנוּ֙ בִּרְפִידִ֔ם וְלֹא הָ֨יָה שָׁ֥ם מַ֛יִם לָעָ֖ם לִשְׁתּֽוֹת | Egressique de Alus, in Raphidim fixere tentoria, ubi populo defuit aqua ad bibendum. | They traveled from Alush, and encamped in Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink. |

| 53 | Cleansing the land, and dwelling in it. | 54 | And you shall divide it among you by lot. To the more you shall give a larger part, and to the fewer a lesser. To every one as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be given. Per tribus et familias possessio dividetur. | You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers. |
| 55 | But if you will not kill the inhabitants of the land: they that remain, shall be unto you as nails in your eyes, and spears in your sides, and they shall be your adversaries in the land of your habitation. | Nếu các ngươi không đuổi các dân cư trong xứ cho khuất mắt, thì những kẻ các ngươi để sót lại sẽ nên như gai chọc mắt, như mũi nhọn đâm sườn; chúng sẽ quấy rối các ngươi trên đất các ngươi đến ở. | ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀπολέσητε τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀπὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν, καὶ ἔσται οὓς ἐὰν καταλίπητε ἐξ αὐτῶν, σκόλοπες ἐν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς ὑμῶν καὶ βολίδες ἐν ταῖς πλευραῖς ὑμῶν, καὶ ἐχθρεύσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἐφ᾽ ἣν ὑμεῖς κατοικήσετε· | וְאִם לֹ֨א תוֹרִ֜ישׁוּ אֶת יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הָאָרֶץ֮ מִפְּנֵיכֶם֒ וְהָיָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תּוֹתִ֣ירוּ מֵהֶ֔ם לְשִׂכִּים֙ בְּעֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם וְלִצְנִינִ֖ם בְּצִדֵּיכֶ֑ם וְצָרֲר֣וּ אֶתְכֶ֔ם עַל הָאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֖ם יֹשְׁבִ֥ים בָּֽהּ | Sin autem nolueritis interficere habitatores terræ: qui remanserint, erunt vobis quasi clavi in oculis, et lanceæ in lateribus, et adversabuntur vobis in terra habitationis vestræ: | “But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell. |
