So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he seemed just to himself. So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
And Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram, was angry and was moved to indignation: now he was angry against Job, because he said he was just before God.Nhưng ông Ê-li-hu, con ông Ba-rác-ên, người Bút, thuộc thị tộc Ram đã nổi giận với ông Gióp, vì ông này dám cho mình công chính hơn Thiên Chúa.ὠργίσθη δὲ Ἐλιοῦς ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιὴλ ὁ Βουζείτης ἐκ τῆς συγγενείας Ῥάμ, τῆς Αὐσείτιδος χώρας· ὠργίσθη δὲ τῷ Ἰὼβ σφόδρα, διότι ἀπέφηνεν ἑαυτὸν δίκαιον ἐναντίον Κυρίου.וַיִּ֤חַר אַ֨ף אֱלִיה֣וּא בֶן בַּרַכְאֵ֣ל הַבּוּזִי֮ מִמִּשְׁפַּ֪חַ֫ת רָ֥ם בְּ֭אִיּוֹב חָרָ֣ה אַפּ֑וֹ עַֽל צַדְּק֥וֹ נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ מֵאֱלֹהִֽיםEt iratus indignatusque est Eliu filius Barachel Buzites, de cognatione Ram: iratus est autem adversum Job, eo quod justum se esse diceret coram Deo.Then the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite, of the family of Ram, was kindled against Job. His wrath was kindled because he justified himself rather than God.
And he was angry with his friends because they had not found a reasonable answer, but only had condemned Job.Ông Ê-li-hu cũng nổi giận với ba người bạn vì họ đã không tìm được câu trả lời nào đáp lại ông Gióp, mà còn lên án Thiên Chúa nữa.καὶ κατὰ τῶν τριῶν δὲ φίλων ὠργίσθη σφόδρα, διότι οὐκ ἠδυνήθησαν ἀποκριθῆναι ἀντίθετα Ἰώβ, καὶ ἔθεντο αὐτὸν εἶναι ἀσεβῆ.וּבִשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת רֵעָיו֮ חָרָ֪ה אַ֫פּ֥וֹ עַ֤ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא מָצְא֣וּ מַעֲנֶ֑ה וַ֝יַּרְשִׁ֗יעוּ אֶת אִיּֽוֹבPorro adversum amicos ejus indignatus est, eo quod non invenissent responsionem rationabilem, sed tantummodo condemnassent Job.Also his wrath was kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
So Eliu waited while Job was speaking, because they were his elders that were speaking.Đang khi họ tranh luận với ông Gióp, thì ông Ê-li-hu chờ, vì họ nhiều tuổi hơn ông.Ἐλιοῦς δὲ ὑπέμεινεν δοῦναι ἀπόκρισιν Ἰώβ, ὅτι πρεσβύτεροι αὐτοῦ εἰσιν ἡμέραις. Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job, because they were older than he.
But when he saw that the three were not able to answer, he was exceedingly angry. When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.
Then Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said: I am younger in days, and you are more ancient; therefore hanging down my head, I was afraid to shew you my opinion.Ông Ê-li-hu, con ông Ba-rác-ên, người Bút, lên tiếng nói: Tôi là một người trẻ, còn các ông là những người già,vì thế, tôi ngại ngùng sợ hãikhông dám bày tỏ sự hiểu biết của tôi với các ông.ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ἐλιοῦς ὁ τοῦ Βαραχιὴλ ὁ Βουζείτης εἶπεν Νεώτερος μέν εἰμι τῷ χρόνῳ, ὑμεῖς δέ ἐστε πρεσβύτεροι· διὸ ἡσύχασα, φοβηθεὶς τοῦ ὑμῖν ἀναγγεῖλαι τὴν ἐμαυτοῦ ἐπιστήμην. Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered, “I am young, and you are very old. Therefore I held back, and didn’t dare show you my opinion.
For I hoped that greater age would speak, and that a multitude of years would teach wisdom.Tôi tự nhủ: “Kẻ già mới có quyền ăn nói,người cao tuổi mới dạy lẽ khôn ngoan.”εἶπα δὲ ὅτι Οὐχ ὁ χρόνος ἐστὶν ὁ λαλῶν, ἐν πολλοῖς δὲ ἔτεσιν οὐκ οἴδασιν σοφίαν·אָ֭מַרְתִּי יָמִ֣ים יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ וְרֹ֥ב שָׁ֝נִ֗ים יֹדִ֥יעוּ חָכְמָֽה I said, ‘Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’
But, as I see, there is a spirit in men, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding.Nhưng thật ra sinh khí trong con người,tức hơi thở của Đấng Toàn Năng, mới làm cho hiểu biết.ἀλλὰ πνεῦμά ἐστιν ἐν βροτοῖς, πνοὴ δὲ Παντοκράτορός ἐστιν ἡ διδάσκουσα·אָ֭כֵן רֽוּחַ הִ֣יא בֶאֱנ֑וֹשׁ וְנִשְׁמַ֖ת שַׁדַּ֣י תְּבִינֵֽםSed, ut video, spiritus est in hominibus, et inspiratio Omnipotentis dat intelligentiam. But there is a spirit in man, and the Spirit of the Almighty gives them understanding.
They that are aged are not the wise men, neither do the ancients understand judgment. It is not the great who are wise, nor the aged who understand justice.
Therefore I will speak: Hearken to me, I also will shew you my wisdom.Vì thế tôi nói: “Xin hãy nghe tôi,tôi đây sẽ bày tỏ sự hiểu biết của mình.”διὸ εἶπα Ἀκούσατέ μου, καὶ ἀναγγελῶ ὑμῖν ἃ οἶδα·לָכֵ֣ן אָ֭מַרְתִּי שִׁמְעָה לִּ֑י אֲחַוֶּ֖ה דֵּעִ֣י אַף אָֽנִיIdeo dicam: Audite me: ostendam vobis etiam ego meam sapientiam. Therefore I said, ‘Listen to me; I also will show my opinion.’
For I have waited for your words, I have given ear to your wisdom, as long as you were disputing in words.Này tôi đã chờ đợi lời lẽ của các ông,đã mở tai nghe các ông lý luận;đang lúc các ông tìm tòi chữ nghĩa.ἐνωτίζεσθέ μου τὰ ῥήματα ὑμῶν ἀκουόντων, ἄχρι οὗ ἐτάσητε λόγους.הֵ֤ן הוֹחַ֨לְתִּי לְֽדִבְרֵיכֶ֗ם אָ֭זִין עַד תְּב֥וּנֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם עַֽד תַּחְקְר֥וּן מִלִּֽיןExpectavi enim sermones vestros; audivi prudentiam vestram, donec disceptaremini sermonibus;“Behold, I waited for your words, and I listened for your reasoning, while you searched out what to say.
And as long as I thought you said some thing, I considered: but, as I see, there is none of you that can convince Job, and answer his words.Tôi đã chú ý theo dõi các ông,nhưng chẳng ai bắt bẻ được ông Gióp,không người nào đối đáp nổi lời lẽ của ông.καὶ μέχρι ὑμῶν συνήσω· καὶ ἰδοὺ οὐκ ἦν τῷ Ἰὼβ ἐλέγχων, ἀνταποκρινόμενος ῥήματα αὐτοῦ ἐξ ὑμῶν. Yes, I gave you my full attention, but there was no one who convinced Job, or who answered his words, among you.
Lest you should say: We have found wisdom, God hath cast him down, not man.Vậy các ông đừng nói: “Chúng tôi đã tìm được khôn ngoan,chính Thiên Chúa dạy dỗ chúng tôichứ không phải người phàm!”ἵνα μὴ εἴπητε Εὕρομεν σοφίαν Κυρίῳ προσθέμενοι·פֶּן תֹּ֣֭אמְרוּ מָצָ֣אנוּ חָכְמָ֑ה אֵ֖ל יִדְּפֶ֣נּוּ לֹא אִֽישׁNe forte dicatis: Invenimus sapientiam: Deus projecit eum, non homo.Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom. God may refute him, not man;’
He hath spoken nothing to me, and I will not answer him according to your words.Tôi sẽ không chuẩn bị lời lẽ,không theo kiểu các ông mà trả lời ông Gióp.ἀνθρώπῳ δὲ ἐπετρέψατε λαλῆσαι τοιαῦτα ῥήματα.וְלֹא עָרַ֣ךְ אֵלַ֣י מִלִּ֑ין וּ֝בְאִמְרֵיכֶ֗ם לֹ֣א אֲשִׁיבֶֽנּוּNihil locutus est mihi: et ego non secundum sermones vestros respondebo illi.for he has not directed his words against me; neither will I answer him with your speeches.
They were afraid, and answered no more, and they left off speaking.Họ sững sờ, không trả lời nữa, họ không có đủ lời.ἐπτοήθησαν, οὐκ ἀπεκρίθησαν ἔτι, ἐπαλαίωσαν ἐξ αὐτῶν λόγους. Extimuerunt, nec responderunt ultra, abstuleruntque a se eloquia.“They are amazed. They answer no more. They don’t have a word to say.
Therefore because I have waited, and they have not spoken: they stood, and answered no more:Tôi chờ đợi vì họ không nói,họ ngưng lại và không trả lời nữa.ὑπέμεινα, οὐ γὰρ ἐλάλησα· ὅτι ἔστησαν, οὐκ ἀπεκρίθησαν.וְ֭הוֹחַלְתִּי כִּי לֹ֣א יְדַבֵּ֑רוּ כִּ֥י עָ֝מְד֗וּ לֹא עָ֥נוּ עֽוֹדQuoniam igitur expectavi, et non sunt locuti: steterunt, nec ultra responderunt:Shall I wait, because they don’t speak, because they stand still, and answer no more?
I also will answer my part, and will shew my knowledge.Đến lượt tôi, tôi sẽ trả lời,phần tôi, tôi sẽ bày tỏ sự hiểu biết của tôi.Ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ἐλιοῦς λέγειאַעֲנֶ֣ה אַף אֲנִ֣י חֶלְקִ֑י אֲחַוֶּ֖ה דֵעִ֣י אַף אָֽנִיrespondebo et ego partem meam, et ostendam scientiam meam.I also will answer my part, and I also will show my opinion.
For I am full of matter to speak of, and the spirit of my bowels straiteneth me.Quả thật, tôi đầy ứ lời lẽ, thần khí ở trong tôi thúc giục tôi nói.Πάλιν λαλήσω· πλήρης γάρ εἰμι ῥημάτων, ὀλέκει γάρ με τὸ πνεῦμα τῆς γαστρός·כִּ֭י מָלֵ֣תִי מִלִּ֑ים הֱ֝צִיקַ֗תְנִי ר֣וּחַ בִּטְנִֽיPlenus sum enim sermonibus, et coarctat me spiritus uteri mei.For I am full of words. The spirit within me constrains me.
Behold, my belly is as new wine which wanteth vent, which bursteth the new vessels. Behold, my breast is as wine which has no vent; like new wineskins it is ready to burst.
I will speak and take breath a little: I will open my lips, and will answer.Tôi muốn nói cho lòng vơi nhẹ, nên mở miệng cất tiếng trả lời.λαλήσω, ἵνα ἀναπαύσωμαι, ἀνοίξας τὰ χείλη·אֲדַבְּרָ֥ה וְיִֽרְוַֽח לִ֑י אֶפְתַּ֖ח שְׂפָתַ֣י וְאֶֽעֱנֶֽהLoquar, et respirabo paululum: aperiam labia mea, et respondebo.I will speak, that I may be refreshed. I will open my lips and answer.
I will not accept the person of man, and I will not level God with man.Tôi sẽ không về phe ai cả,cũng chẳng tâng chẳng bốc một người nào.ἄνθρωπον γὰρ οὐ μὴ αἰσχυνθῶ, ἀλλὰ μὴν οὐδὲ βροτὸν οὐ μὴ ἐντραπῶ·אַל נָ֭א אֶשָּׂ֣א פְנֵי אִ֑ישׁ וְאֶל אָ֝דָ֗ם לֹ֣א אֲכַנֶּֽה Please don’t let me respect any man’s person, neither will I give flattering titles to any man.
For I know not how long I shall continue, and whether after a while my Maker may take me away.Tôi đâu biết tâng bốc; chẳng vậy, Đấng đã làm ra tôisẽ cất tôi đi trong khoảnh khắc.οὐ γὰρ ἐπίσταμαι θαυμάσαι πρόσωπα· εἰ δὲ μή, καὶ ἐμὲ σῆτες ἔδονται.כִּ֤י לֹ֣א יָדַ֣עְתִּי אֲכַנֶּ֑ה כִּ֝מְעַ֗ט יִשָּׂאֵ֥נִי עֹשֵֽׂנִיNescio enim quamdiu subsistam, et si post modicum tollat me factor meus.]For I don’t know how to give flattering titles, or else my Maker would soon take me away.
