| 2 | Revenge first the children of Israel on the Madianites, and so thou shalt be gathered to thy people. | “Hãy trả thù người Ma-đi-an cho con cái Ít-ra-en, rồi ngươi sẽ về sum họp với gia tiên ngươi.” | Ἐκδίκει τὴν ἐκδίκησιν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἐκ τῶν Μαδιανειτῶν, καὶ ἔσχατον προστεθήσῃ πρὸς τὸν λαόν σου. | נְקֹ֗ם נִקְמַת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאֵ֖ת הַמִּדְיָנִ֑ים אַחַ֖ר תֵּאָסֵ֥ף אֶל עַמֶּֽיךָ | Ulciscere prius filios Israël de Madianitis, et sic colligeris ad populum tuum. | “Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people.” |
| 3 | And Moses forthwith said: Arm of you men to fight, who may take the revenge of the Lord on the Madianites. | Ông Mô-sê nói với dân: “Một số người trong anh em hãy chuẩn bị sãn sàng để ra trận tiến đánh Ma-đi-an, để trả thù dân ấy cho ĐỨC CHÚA. | καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγων Ἐξοπλίσατε ἐξ ὑμῶν ἄνδρας, παρατάξασθαι ἔναντι Κυρίου ἐπὶ Μαδιάν, ἀποδοῦναι ἐκδίκησιν παρὰ τοῦ κυρίου τῇ Μαδιάν· | וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל הָעָ֣ם לֵאמֹ֔ר הֵחָלְצ֧וּ מֵאִתְּכֶ֛ם אֲנָשִׁ֖ים לַצָּבָ֑א וְיִהְיוּ֙ עַל מִדְיָ֔ן לָתֵ֥ת נִקְמַת יְהוָ֖ה בְּמִדְיָֽן | Statimque Moyses: Armate, inquit, ex vobis viros ad pugnam, qui possint ultionem Domini expetere de Madianitis. | Moses spoke to the people, saying, “Arm men from among you for war, that they may go against Midian, to execute the LORD’s vengeance on Midian. |
| 4 | Let a thousand men be chosen out of every tribe of Israel to be sent to the war. | Anh em sẽ sai người ra trận; cứ mỗi chi tộc trong các chi tộc Ít-ra-en, thì lấy một ngàn người.” | χίλιοι ἐκ φυλῆς, χίλιοι ἐκ φυλῆς· ἐκ πασῶν φυλῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἀποστείλατε παρατάξασθαι. | אֶ֚לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֔ה אֶ֖לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֑ה לְכֹל֙ מַטּ֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל תִּשְׁלְח֖וּ לַצָּבָֽא | Mille viri de singulis tribubus eligantur ex Israël qui mittantur ad bellum. | You shall send one thousand out of every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel, to the war.” |
| 5 | And they gave a thousand of every tribe, that is to say, twelve thousand men well appointed for battle. | Trong số ngàn vạn người Ít-ra-en, người ta tuyển mộ mỗi chi tộc một ngàn người, tức là mười hai ngàn người được chuẩn bị sãn sàng để ra trận. | καὶ ἐξηρίθμησαν ἐκ τῶν χιλιάδων Ἰσραήλ, χιλίους ἐκ φυλῆς· ιβ᾽ χιλιάδες, ἐνωπλισμένοι εἰς παράταξιν. | וַיִּמָּֽסְרוּ֙ מֵאַלְפֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶ֖לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֑ה שְׁנֵים עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֖לֶף חֲלוּצֵ֥י צָבָֽא | Dederuntque millenos de singulis tribubus, id est, duodecim millia expeditorum ad pugnam: | So there were delivered, out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand from every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war. |
| 6 | And Moses sent them with Phinees the son of Eleazar the priest, and he delivered to him the holy vessels, and the trumpets to sound. | Ông Mô-sê sai họ ra trận, mỗi chi tộc một ngàn người; cùng ra trận với họ, có ông Pin-khát, con của tư tế E-la-da, tay cầm các đồ thánh và kèn thúc quân. | καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς χιλίους ἐκ φυλῆς, χιλίους ἐκ φυλῆς, σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν, καὶ Φινεὲς υἱὸν Ἐλεαζὰρ υἱοῦ Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἱερέως· καὶ τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ αἱ σάλπιγγες τῶν σημασιῶν ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν. | וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח אֹתָ֥ם מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶ֥לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֖ה לַצָּבָ֑א אֹ֠תָם וְאֶת פִּ֨ינְחָ֜ס בֶּן אֶלְעָזָ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ לַצָּבָ֔א וּכְלֵ֥י הַקֹּ֛דֶשׁ וַחֲצֹצְר֥וֹת הַתְּרוּעָ֖ה בְּיָדֽוֹ | quos misit Moyses cum Phinees filio Eleazari sacerdotis, vasa quoque sancta, et tubas ad clangendum tradidit ei. | Moses sent them, one thousand of every tribe, to the war with Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand. |
| 7 | And when they had fought against the Madianites and had overcome them, they slew all the men. | Họ đã ra trận, tiến đánh Ma-đi-an, như ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho ông Mô-sê, và họ giết tất cả đàn ông con trai. | καὶ παρετάξαντο ἐπὶ Μαδιάν, καθὰ ἐνετείλατο Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ, καὶ ἀπέκτειναν πᾶν ἀρσενικόν· | וַֽיִּצְבְּאוּ֙ עַל מִדְיָ֔ן כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיַּֽהַרְג֖וּ כָּל זָכָֽר | Cumque pugnassent contra Madianitas atque vicissent, omnes mares occiderunt, | They fought against Midian, as the LORD commanded Moses. They killed every male. |
| 8 | And their kings Evi, and Recem, and Sur, and Hur, and Rebe, five princes of the nation: Balaam also the son of Beer they killed with the sword. | Ngoài những người đã bị sát hại đó, họ còn giết các vua Ma-đi-an: E-vi, Re-kem, Xua, Khua, Re-va, là năm vua Ma-đi-an; rồi họ dùng gươm giết ông Bi-lơ-am, con ông Bơ-o. | καὶ τοὺς βασιλεῖς Μαδιὰν ἀπέκτειναν ἅμα τοῖς τραυματίαις αὐτῶν, καὶ τὸν Εὐεὶν καὶ τὸν Σοὺρ καὶ τὸν Ῥόκομ καὶ τὸν Οὓρ καὶ τὸν Ῥόβοκ, πέντε βασιλεῖς Μαδιάμ· καὶ τὸν Βαλαὰμ υἱὸν Βεὼρ ἀπέκτειναν ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ σὺν τοῖς τραυματίαις αὐτῶν. | וְאֶת מַלְכֵ֨י מִדְיָ֜ן הָרְג֣וּ עַל חַלְלֵיהֶ֗ם אֶת אֱוִ֤י וְאֶת רֶ֨קֶם֙ וְאֶת צ֤וּר וְאֶת חוּר֙ וְאֶת רֶ֔בַע חֲמֵ֖שֶׁת מַלְכֵ֣י מִדְיָ֑ן וְאֵת֙ בִּלְעָ֣ם בֶּן בְּע֔וֹר הָרְג֖וּ בֶּחָֽרֶב | et reges eorum, Evi, et Recem, et Sur, et Hur, et Rebe, quinque principes gentis: Balaam quoque filium Beor interfecerunt gladio. | They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their slain: Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam the son of Beor with the sword. |
| 9 | And they took their women, and their children captives, and all their cattle, and all their goods: and all their possessions they plundered: | Con cái Ít-ra-en bắt phụ nữ Ma-đi-an và con cái chúng làm tù nhân; họ đã lấy mọi thú vật, mọi súc vật và mọi của cải chúng làm chiến lợi phẩm. | καὶ ἐπρονόμευσαν τὰς γυναῖκας Μαδιάν, καὶ τὴν ἀποσκευὴν αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔνκτητα αὐτῶν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν αὐτῶν ἐπρονόμευσαν· | וַיִּשְׁבּ֧וּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶת נְשֵׁ֥י מִדְיָ֖ן וְאֶת טַפָּ֑ם וְאֵ֨ת כָּל בְּהֶמְתָּ֧ם וְאֶת כָּל מִקְנֵהֶ֛ם וְאֶת כָּל חֵילָ֖ם בָּזָֽזוּ | Ceperuntque mulieres eorum, et parvulos, omniaque pecora, et cunctam supellectilem: quidquid habere potuerant depopulati sunt: | The children of Israel took the women of Midian captive with their little ones; and all their livestock, all their flocks, and all their goods, they took as plunder. |
| 10 | And all their cities, and their villages, and castles, they burned. | Họ nổi lửa đốt tất cả các thành dân đó ở và mọi lều trại của chúng. | καὶ πάσας τὰς πόλεις αὐτῶν τὰς ἐν ταῖς οἰκίαις αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς ἐπαύλεις αὐτῶν ἐνέπρησαν ἐν πυρί. | וְאֵ֤ת כָּל עָרֵיהֶם֙ בְּמ֣וֹשְׁבֹתָ֔ם וְאֵ֖ת כָּל טִֽירֹתָ֑ם שָׂרְפ֖וּ בָּאֵֽשׁ | tam urbes quam viculos et castella flamma consumpsit. | All their cities in the places in which they lived, and all their encampments, they burned with fire. |
| 11 | And they carried away the booty, and all that they had taken both of men and of beasts. | Sau đó họ lấy mọi chiến lợi phẩm và tất cả những gì họ chiếm được, cả người lẫn thú vật, | καὶ ἔλαβον πᾶσαν τὴν προνομὴν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκῦλα αὐτῶν, ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους· | וַיִּקְחוּ֙ אֶת כָּל הַשָּׁלָ֔ל וְאֵ֖ת כָּל הַמַּלְק֑וֹחַ בָּאָדָ֖ם וּבַבְּהֵמָֽה | Et tulerunt prædam, et universa quæ ceperant tam ex hominibus quam ex jumentis, | They took all the captives, and all the plunder, both of man and of animal. |
| 12 | And they brought them to Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and to all the multitude of the children of Israel. But the rest of the things for use they carried to the camp on the plains of Moab, beside the Jordan over against Jericho. | rồi đem các tù nhân và những gì đã chiếm được cũng như chiến lợi phẩm về trại, về vùng thảo nguyên Mô-áp gần sông Gio-đan, đối diện với Giê-ri-khô, để nộp cho ông Mô-sê, cho tư tế E-la-da và cộng đồng con cái Ít-ra-en. | καὶ ἤγαγον πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ πρὸς Ἐλεαζὰρ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν καὶ τὰ σκῦλα καὶ τὴν προνομήν, εἰς τὴν παρεμβολὴν εἰς Ἀραβὼθ Μωάβ, ἥ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου κατὰ Ἰερειχώ. | וַיָּבִ֡אוּ אֶל מֹשֶׁה֩ וְאֶל אֶלְעָזָ֨ר הַכֹּהֵ֜ן וְאֶל עֲדַ֣ת בְּנֵֽי יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אֶת הַשְּׁבִ֧י וְאֶת הַמַּלְק֛וֹחַ וְאֶת הַשָּׁלָ֖ל אֶל הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה אֶל עַֽרְבֹ֣ת מוֹאָ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל יַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵחֽוֹ | et adduxerunt ad Moysen, et Eleazarum sacerdotem, et ad omnem multitudinem filiorum Israël: reliqua autem utensilia portaverunt ad castra in campestribus Moab juxta Jordanem contra Jericho. | They brought the captives with the prey and the plunder, to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the children of Israel, to the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by the Jordan at Jericho. |
| 13 | And Moses and Eleazar the priest and all the princes of the synagogue went forth to meet them without the camp. | Ông Mô-sê, tư tế E-la-da và mọi thủ lãnh của cộng đồng ra gặp họ ở ngoài trại. | Καὶ ἐξῆλθεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἐλεαζὰρ ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς συναγωγῆς εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοῖς ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς· | וַיֵּ֨צְא֜וּ מֹשֶׁ֨ה וְאֶלְעָזָ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן וְכָל נְשִׂיאֵ֥י הָעֵדָ֖ה לִקְרָאתָ֑ם אֶל מִח֖וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה | Egressi sunt autem Moyses et Eleazar sacerdos, et omnes principes synagogæ, in occursum eorum extra castra. | Moses and Eleazar the priest, with all the princes of the congregation, went out to meet them outside of the camp. |
| 14 | And Moses being angry with the chief officers of the army, the tribunes, and the centurions that were come from the battle, | Ông Mô-sê nổi giận với các tướng lãnh, với các vị chỉ huy một ngàn quân và các vị chỉ huy một trăm quân đi trận trở về. | καὶ ὠργίσθη Μωυσῆς ἐπὶ τοῖς ἐπισκόποις τῆς δυνάμεως, χιλιάρχοις καὶ ἑκατοντάρχοις τοῖς ἐρχομένοις ἐκ τῆς παρατάξεως τοῦ πολέμου· | וַיִּקְצֹ֣ף מֹשֶׁ֔ה עַ֖ל פְּקוּדֵ֣י הֶחָ֑יִל שָׂרֵ֤י הָאֲלָפִים֙ וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמֵּא֔וֹת הַבָּאִ֖ים מִצְּבָ֥א הַמִּלְחָמָֽה | Iratusque Moyses principibus exercitus, tribunis, et centurionibus qui venerant de bello, | Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who came from the service of the war. |
| 15 | Said: Why have you saved the women? | Ông Mô-sê nói với họ: “Sao anh em lại để cho cả bọn đàn bà này sống? | καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Μωυσῆς Ἵνα τί ἐζωγρήσατε πᾶν θῆλυ; | וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מֹשֶׁ֑ה הַֽחִיִּיתֶ֖ם כָּל נְקֵבָֽה | ait: Cur feminas reservastis? | Moses said to them, “Have you saved all the women alive? |
| 16 | Are not these they, that deceived the children of Israel by the counsel of Balaam, and made you transgress against the Lord by the sin of Phogor, for which also the people was punished? | Chính bọn chúng đã nghe lời Bi-lơ-am, mà lôi cuốn con cái Ít-ra-en phạm tội bất trung với ĐỨC CHÚA trong vụ Pơ-o, nên tai hoạ đã giáng xuống cộng đồng của ĐỨC CHÚA. | αὗται γὰρ ἦσαν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ κατὰ τὸ ῥῆμα Βαλαὰμ τοῦ ἀποστῆσαι καὶ ὑπεριδεῖν τὸ ῥῆμα Κυρίου ἕνεκεν Φογώρ, καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ πληγὴ ἐν τῇ συναγωγῇ Κυρίου. | הֵ֣ן הֵ֜נָּה הָי֨וּ לִבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בִּדְבַ֣ר בִּלְעָ֔ם לִמְסָר מַ֥עַל בַּיהוָ֖ה עַל דְּבַר פְּע֑וֹר וַתְּהִ֥י הַמַּגֵּפָ֖ה בַּעֲדַ֥ת יְהוָֽה | nonne istæ sunt, quæ deceperunt filios Israël ad suggestionem Balaam, et prævaricari vos fecerunt in Domino super peccato Phogor, unde et percussus est populus? | Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and so the plague was among the congregation of the LORD. |
| 17 | Therefore kill all that are of the male sex, even of the children: and put to death the women, that have carnally known men. | Vậy bây giờ, hãy giết hết các con trai, cũng như mọi phụ nữ đã biết đến việc vợ chồng, đã ăn ở với đàn ông. | καὶ νῦν ἀποκτείνατε πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἐν πάσῃ τῇ ἀπαρτίᾳ, καὶ πᾶσαν γυναῖκα ἥτις ἔγνωκεν κοίτην ἄρσενος ἀποκτείνατε· | וְעַתָּ֕ה הִרְג֥וּ כָל זָכָ֖ר בַּטָּ֑ף וְכָל אִשָּׁ֗ה יֹדַ֥עַת אִ֛ישׁ לְמִשְׁכַּ֥ב זָכָ֖ר הֲרֹֽגוּ | ergo cunctos interficite quidquid est generis masculinis, etiam in parvulis: et mulieres, quæ noverunt viros in coitu, jugulate: | Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him. |
| 18 | But the girls, and all the women that are virgins save for yourselves: | Còn mọi con gái nhỏ tuổi chưa ăn ở với đàn ông, thì hãy để cho chúng sống và thuộc về anh em. | πᾶσαν τὴν ἀπαρτίαν τῶν γυναικῶν ἥτις οὐκ οἶδεν κοίτην ἄρσενος, ζωγρήσατε αὐτάς. | וְכֹל֙ הַטַּ֣ף בַּנָּשִׁ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא יָדְע֖וּ מִשְׁכַּ֣ב זָכָ֑ר הַחֲי֖וּ לָכֶֽם | puellas autem et omnes feminas virgines reservate vobis: | But all the girls, who have not known man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. |
| 19 | And stay without the camp seven days. He that hath killed a man, or touched one that is killed, shall be purified the third day and the seventh day. | Về phần anh em, ai đã giết người, ai đã đụng tới người bị sát hại, hãy đóng quân ngoài trại trong bảy ngày. Anh em cũng như các tù nhân đều phải thanh tẩy mình vào ngày thứ ba và thứ bảy. | καὶ ὑμεῖς παρεμβάλετε ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας· πᾶς ὁ ἀνελών καὶ ὁ ἁπτόμενος τοῦ τετρωμένου ἁγνισθήσεται τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ, ὑμεῖς καὶ ἡ αἰχμαλωσία ὑμῶν· | וְאַתֶּ֗ם חֲנ֛וּ מִח֥וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים כֹּל֩ הֹרֵ֨ג נֶ֜פֶשׁ וְכֹ֣ל נֹגֵ֣עַ בֶּֽחָלָ֗ל תִּֽתְחַטְּא֞וּ בַּיּ֤וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי֙ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י אַתֶּ֖ם וּשְׁבִיכֶֽם | et manete extra castra septem diebus. Qui occiderit hominem, vel occisum tetigerit, lustrabitur die tertio et septimo. | “Encamp outside of the camp for seven days. Whoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives. |
| 20 | And of all the spoil, every garment, or vessel, or any thing made for use, of the skins, or hair of goats, or of wood, shall be purified. | Anh em phải thanh tẩy mọi quần áo, mọi đồ bằng da, mọi sản phẩm bằng lông dê và mọi đồ gỗ.” | καὶ πᾶν περίβλημα καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος δερμάτινον καὶ πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν ἐξ αἰγίας καὶ πᾶν σκεῦος ξύλινον ἀφαγνιεῖτε. | וְכָל בֶּ֧גֶד וְכָל כְּלִי ע֛וֹר וְכָל מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה עִזִּ֖ים וְכָל כְּלִי עֵ֑ץ תִּתְחַטָּֽאוּ | Et de omni præda, sive vestimentum fuerit, sive vas, et aliquid in utensilia præparatum, de caprarum pellibus, et pilis, et ligno, expiabitur. | You shall purify every garment, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.” |
| 21 | Eleazar also the priest spoke to the men of the army, that had fought, in this manner: This is the ordinance of the law, which the Lord hath commanded Moses: | Tư tế E-la-da nói với các binh lính đã đi chiến đấu: “Đây là quy tắc pháp luật ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho ông Mô-sê: | καὶ εἶπεν Ἐλεαζὰρ ὁ ἱερεὺς πρὸς τοὺς ἄνδρας τῆς δυνάμεως τοὺς ἐρχομένους ἐκ τῆς παρατάξεως τοῦ πολέμου Τοῦτο τὸ δικαίωμα τοῦ νόμου ὃ συνέταξεν Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ. | וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֶלְעָזָ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶל אַנְשֵׁ֣י הַצָּבָ֔א הַבָּאִ֖ים לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה זֹ֚את חֻקַּ֣ת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת מֹשֶֽׁה | Eleazar quoque sacerdos ad viros exercitus, qui pugnaverunt, sic locutus est: Hoc est præceptum legis, quod mandavit Dominus Moysi: | Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who went to the battle, “This is the statute of the law which the LORD has commanded Moses. |

| 48 | And when the commanders of the army, and the tribunes and centurions were come to Moses, they said: | Bấy giờ, các tướng lãnh, các vị chỉ huy một ngàn quân và các vị chỉ huy một trăm quân đến gần ông ông Mô-sê | Καὶ προσῆλθον πρὸς Μωυσῆν πάντες οἱ καθεσταμένοι εἰς τὰς χιλιαρχίας τῆς δυνάμεως χιλίαρχοι καὶ ἑκατόνταρχοι, | וַֽיִּקְרְבוּ֙ אֶל מֹשֶׁ֔ה הַפְּקֻדִ֕ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר לְאַלְפֵ֣י הַצָּבָ֑א שָׂרֵ֥י הָאֲלָפִ֖ים וְשָׂרֵ֥י הַמֵּאֽוֹת | Cumque accessissent principes exercitus ad Moysen, et tribuni, centurionesque, dixerunt: | The officers who were over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near to Moses. |
| 49 | We thy servants have reckoned up the number of the fighting men, whom we had under our hand, and not so much as one was wanting. | và nói: “Các tôi tớ ngài đã kiểm lại số những người chiến đấu dưới quyền chúng tôi, và không thấy thiếu một người nào cả. | καὶ εἶπαν πρὸς Μωυσῆν Οἱ παῖδές σου εἰλήφασιν τὸ κεφάλαιον τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν πολεμιστῶν τῶν παρ᾽ ἡμῶν, καὶ οὐ διαπεφώνηκεν ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν οὐδὲ εἷς· | וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ אֶל מֹשֶׁ֔ה עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ נָֽשְׂא֗וּ אֶת רֹ֛אשׁ אַנְשֵׁ֥י הַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּיָדֵ֑נוּ וְלֹא נִפְקַ֥ד מִמֶּ֖נּוּ אִֽישׁ | Nos servi tui recensuimus numerum pugnatorum, quos habuimus sub manu nostra: et ne unus quidem defuit. | They said to Moses, “Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our command, and there lacks not one man of us. |
| 50 | Therefore we offer as gifts to the Lord what gold every one of us could find in the booty, in garters and tablets, rings and bracelets, and chains, that thou mayst pray to the Lord for us. | Vậy chúng tôi đem những đồ bằng vàng mà mỗi người đã tìm thấy, làm lễ tiến dâng lên ĐỨC CHÚA, để cử hành lễ xá tội cho chúng tôi trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA. Những đồ bằng vàng đó là vòng cổ tay, vòng cánh tay, nhẫn, khuyên tai và kiềng.” | καὶ προσενηνόχαμεν τὸ δῶρον Κυρίῳ ἀνὴρ ὃ εὗρεν σκεῦος χρυσοῦν καὶ χλίδωνα καὶ ψέλιον καὶ δακτύλιον καὶ περιδέξιον καὶ ἐμπλόκιον, ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ ἡμῶν ἔναντι Κυρίου. | וַנַּקְרֵ֞ב אֶת קָרְבַּ֣ן יְהוָ֗ה אִישׁ֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר מָצָ֤א כְלִֽי זָהָב֙ אֶצְעָדָ֣ה וְצָמִ֔יד טַבַּ֖עַת עָגִ֣יל וְכוּמָ֑ז לְכַפֵּ֥ר עַל נַפְשֹׁתֵ֖ינוּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה | Ob hanc causam offerimus in donariis Domini singuli quod in præda auri potuimus invenire, periscelides et armillas, annulos et dextralia, ac murænulas, ut depreceris pro nobis Dominum. | We have brought the LORD’s offering, what every man found: gold ornaments, armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before the LORD.” |
| 51 | And Moses and Eleazar the priest received all the gold in divers kinds, | Ông Mô-sê và tư tế E-la-da đã nhận vàng họ dâng và mọi đồ kim hoàn. | καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἐλεαζὰρ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ χρυσίον παρ᾽ αὐτῶν, πᾶν σκεῦος εἰργασμένον· | וַיִּקַּ֨ח מֹשֶׁ֜ה וְאֶלְעָזָ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֶת הַזָּהָ֖ב מֵֽאִתָּ֑ם כֹּ֖ל כְּלִ֥י מַעֲשֶֽׂה | Susceperuntque Moyses et Eleazar sacerdos omne aurum in diversis speciebus, | Moses and Eleazar the priest took their gold, even all worked jewels. |
| 52 | In weight sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty sicles, from the tribunes and from the centurions. | Tổng cộng số vàng họ đã trích ra để dâng ĐỨC CHÚA là một trăm bảy mươi ký, được các chỉ huy một ngàn quân và các vị chỉ huy một trăm quân đem nộp. | καὶ ἐγένετο πᾶν τὸ χρυσίον, τὸ ἀφαίρεμα ὃ ἀφεῖλον Κυρίῳ, ἓξ καὶ δέκα χιλιάδες καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι καὶ πεντήκοντα σίκλοι, παρὰ τῶν χιλιάρχων καὶ παρὰ τῶν ἑκατοντάρχων. | וַיְהִ֣י כָּל זְהַ֣ב הַתְּרוּמָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֵרִ֨ימוּ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה שִׁשָּׁ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר אֶ֛לֶף שְׁבַע מֵא֥וֹת וַחֲמִשִּׁ֖ים שָׁ֑קֶל מֵאֵת֙ שָׂרֵ֣י הָֽאֲלָפִ֔ים וּמֵאֵ֖ת שָׂרֵ֥י הַמֵּאֽוֹת | pondo sedecim millia septingentos quinquaginta siclos, a tribunis et centurionibus. | All the gold of the wave offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred fifty shekels. |
| 53 | For that which every one had taken in the booty was his own. | Trước đó, ai nấy trong quân đội đều đoạt phần chiến lợi phẩm cho mình. | καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες οἱ πολεμισταὶ ἐπρονόμευσαν ἕκαστος ἑαυτῷ. | אַנְשֵׁי֙ הַצָּבָ֔א בָּזְז֖וּ אִ֥ישׁ לֽוֹ | Unusquisque enim quod in præda rapuerat, suum erat. | The men of war had taken booty, every man for himself. |
| 54 | And that which was received they brought into the tabernacle of the testimony, for a memorial of the children of Israel before the Lord. | Cho nên, ông Mô-sê và tư tế E-la-da đã nhận vàng của các vị chỉ huy một ngàn quân và một trăm quân, rồi mang đến Lều Hội Ngộ, làm kỷ vật tưởng nhớ con cái Ít-ra-en trước nhan ĐỨC CHÚA. | καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἐλεαζὰρ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ χρυσίον παρὰ τῶν χιλιάρχων καὶ παρὰ τῶν ἑκατοντάρχων, καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν αὐτὰ εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου, μνημόσυνον τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἔναντι Κυρίου. | וַיִּקַּ֨ח מֹשֶׁ֜ה וְאֶלְעָזָ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת הַזָּהָ֔ב מֵאֵ֛ת שָׂרֵ֥י הָאֲלָפִ֖ים וְהַמֵּא֑וֹת וַיָּבִ֤אוּ אֹתוֹ֙ אֶל אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד זִכָּר֥וֹן לִבְנֵֽי יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה | Et susceptum intulerunt in tabernaculum testimonii, in monimentum filiorum Israël coram Domino. | Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the Tent of Meeting for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD. |
