| 1 | As to the rest, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not wearisome, but to you it is necessary. | Vả lại, thưa anh em, anh em hãy vui mừng vì Chúa. | 9 | And may be found in him, not having my justice, which is of the law, but that which is of the faith of Christ Jesus, which is of God, justice in faith: | và được kết hợp với Người. But one thing I do: forgetting the things that are behind, and stretching forth myself to those that are before, | Thưa anh em, tôi không nghĩ mình đã chiếm được rồi. | 14 | I press towards the mark, to the prize of the supernal vocation of God in Christ Jesus. | Tôi chạy thẳng tới đích, để chiếm được phần thưởng từ trời cao Thiên Chúa dành cho kẻ được Người kêu gọi trong Đức Ki-tô Giê-su. | κατὰ σκοπὸν διώκω ⸀εἰς τὸ βραβεῖον τῆς ἄνω κλήσεως τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ. | ad destinatum persequor, ad bravium supernæ vocationis Dei in Christo Jesu. | I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. |
| 15 | Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be thus minded; and if in any thing you be otherwise minded, this also God will reveal to you. | Vậy tất cả chúng ta là những người hoàn thiện, chúng ta hãy nghĩ như vậy; và giả như có điểm nào anh em nghĩ khác, thì Thiên Chúa sẽ mặc khải cho anh em. | ὅσοι οὖν τέλειοι, τοῦτο φρονῶμεν· καὶ εἴ τι ἑτέρως φρονεῖτε, καὶ τοῦτο ὁ θεὸς ὑμῖν ἀποκαλύψει· | Quicumque ergo perfecti sumus, hoc sentiamus: et si quid aliter sapitis, et hoc vobis Deus revelabit. | Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. Let’s be of the same mind. |
| 17 | Be ye followers of me, brethren, and observe them who walk so as you have our model. | Thưa anh em, xin hãy cùng nhau bắt chước tôi, và chăm chú nhìn vào những ai sống theo gương chúng tôi để lại cho anh em. | Συμμιμηταί μου γίνεσθε, ἀδελφοί, καὶ σκοπεῖτε τοὺς οὕτω περιπατοῦντας καθὼς ἔχετε τύπον ἡμᾶς· | Imitatores mei estote, fratres, et observate eos qui ita ambulant, sicut habetis formam nostram. | Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example. |
| 18 | For many walk, of whom I have told you often (and now tell you weeping), that they are enemies of the cross of Christ; | Vì, như tôi đã nói với anh em nhiều lần, và bây giờ tôi phải khóc mà nói lại, có nhiều người sống đối nghịch với thập giá Đức Ki-tô: | πολλοὶ γὰρ περιπατοῦσιν οὓς πολλάκις ἔλεγον ὑμῖν, νῦν δὲ καὶ κλαίων λέγω, τοὺς ἐχθροὺς τοῦ σταυροῦ τοῦ Χριστοῦ, | Multi enim ambulant, quos sæpe dicebam vobis (nunc autem et flens dico) inimicos crucis Christi: | For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ, |
| 19 | Whose end is destruction; whose God is their belly; and whose glory is in their shame; who mind earthly things. | chung cục là họ sẽ phải hư vong. | 21 | Who will reform the body of our lowness, made like to the body of his glory, according to the operation whereby also he is able to subdue all things unto himself. | Người có quyền năng khắc phục muôn loài, và sẽ dùng quyền năng ấy mà biến đổi thân xác yếu hèn của chúng ta nên giống thân xác vinh hiển của Người. | ὃς μετασχηματίσει τὸ σῶμα τῆς ταπεινώσεως ⸀ἡμῶν σύμμορφον τῷ σώματι τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν τοῦ δύνασθαι αὐτὸν καὶ ὑποτάξαι ⸀αὑτῷ τὰ πάντα. | qui reformabit corpus humilitatis nostræ, configuratum corpori claritatis suæ, secundum operationem, qua etiam possit subjicere sibi omnia. | who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself. |
