Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father. |

| 6 | Bring the tribe of Levi, and make them stand in the sight of Aaron the priest to minister to him, and let them watch, | “Hãy gọi chi tộc Lê-vi lại và đặt chúng túc trực bên cạnh tư tế A-ha-ron để giúp nó. | Λάβε τὴν φυλὴν Λευεί, καὶ στήσεις αὐτοὺς ἐναντίον Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἱερέως, καὶ λειτουργήσουσιν αὐτῷ. | הַקְרֵב֙ אֶת מַטֵּ֣ה לֵוִ֔י וְֽהַעֲמַדְתָּ֣ אֹת֔וֹ לִפְנֵ֖י אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְשֵׁרְת֖וּ אֹתֽוֹ | Applica tribum Levi, et fac stare in conspectu Aaron sacerdotis ut ministrent ei, et excubent, | “Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him. |
| 7 | And observe whatsoever appertaineth to the service of the multitude before the tabernacle of the testimony, | Chúng phải đảm nhiệm công việc của nó, cũng như công việc của toàn thể cộng đồng trước Lều Hội Ngộ, để lo phục dịch Nhà Tạm. | καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὰς φυλακὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἔναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς· | וְשָׁמְר֣וּ אֶת מִשְׁמַרְתּ֗וֹ וְאֶת מִשְׁמֶ֨רֶת֙ כָּל הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן | et observent quidquid ad cultum pertinet multitudinis coram tabernaculo testimonii, | They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle. |
| 8 | And let them keep the vessels of the tabernacle, serving in the ministry thereof. | Chúng sẽ trông coi tất cả các vật dụng trong Lều Hội Ngộ, đồng thời đảm nhiệm công việc của con cái Ít-ra-en, để lo phục dịch Nhà Tạm. | καὶ φυλάξουσιν πάντα τὰ σκεύη τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς. | וְשָׁמְר֗וּ אֶֽת כָּל כְּלֵי֙ אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְאֶת מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת עֲבֹדַ֥ת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן | et custodiant vasa tabernaculi, servientes in ministerio ejus. | They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle. |
| 9 | And thou shalt give the Levites for a gift, | Ngươi hãy trao các thầy Lê-vi cho A-ha-ron và các con nó như những người được dâng hiến, những người được dâng hiến mà con cái Ít-ra-en nộp cho nó. | καὶ δώσεις τοὺς Λευείτας Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν· δεδομένοι δόμα οὗτοί μοί εἰσιν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ. | וְנָתַתָּה֙ אֶת הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְאַהֲרֹ֖ן וּלְבָנָ֑יו נְתוּנִ֨ם נְתוּנִ֥ם הֵ֨מָּה֙ ל֔וֹ מֵאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | Dabisque dono Levitas | You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel. |
| 10 | To Aaron and to his sons, to whom they are delivered by the children of Israel. But thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons over the service of priesthood. The stranger that approacheth to minister, shall be put to death. | Ngươi hãy đặt A-ha-ron và các con nó đảm nhận chức vụ tư tế, còn ai khác mà tới gần sẽ phải chết.” | καὶ Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καταστήσεις ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὴν ἱερατίαν αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ κατὰ τὸν βωμὸν καὶ ἔσω τοῦ καταπετάσματος· καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανεῖται. | וְאֶת אַהֲרֹ֤ן וְאֶת בָּנָיו֙ תִּפְקֹ֔ד וְשָׁמְר֖וּ אֶת כְּהֻנָּתָ֑ם וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת | Aaron et filiis ejus, quibus traditi sunt a filiis Israël. Aaron autem et filios ejus constitues super cultum sacerdotii. Externus, qui ad ministrandum accesserit, morietur. | You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood, but the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.” |
| 11 | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: | ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Mô-sê rằng: | Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων | וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר | Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens: | The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, |
| 12 | I have taken the Levites from the children of Israel, for every firstborn that openeth the womb among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine. | “Đây, chính Ta đã chọn các thầy Lê-vi giữa con cái Ít-ra-en thay thế tất cả các trưởng nam, các con đầu lòng trong số con cái Ít-ra-en, cho nên các thầy Lê-vi thuộc về Ta. | Καὶ ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ εἴληφα τοὺς Λευείτας ἐκ μέσου τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἀντὶ παντὸς πρωτοτόκου διανοίγοντος μήτραν παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ· λύτρα αὐτῶν ἔσονται, καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευεῖται. | וַאֲנִ֞י הִנֵּ֧ה לָקַ֣חְתִּי אֶת הַלְוִיִּ֗ם מִתּוֹךְ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל תַּ֧חַת כָּל בְּכ֛וֹר פֶּ֥טֶר רֶ֖חֶם מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְהָ֥יוּ לִ֖י הַלְוִיִּֽם | Ego tuli Levitas a filiis Israël pro omni primogenito, qui aperit vulvam in filiis Israël, eruntque Levitæ mei. | “Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine, |
| 13 | For every firstborn is mine: since I struck the firstborn in the land of Egypt: I have sanctified to myself whatsoever is firstborn in Israel both of man and beast, they are mine: I am the Lord. | Thật vậy, tất cả các con đầu lòng đều thuộc về Ta, từ ngày Ta đánh phạt tất cả các con đầu lòng trong đất Ai-cập; Ta đã thánh hiến cho Ta tất cả các con đầu lòng trong Ít-ra-en, của loài người cũng như của súc vật: chúng thuộc về Ta. Ta là ĐỨC CHÚA.” | ἐμοὶ γὰρ πᾶν πρωτότοκον· ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐπάταξα πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτου ἡγίασα ἐμοὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν Ἰσραήλ· ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ἐμοὶ ἔσονται· ἐγὼ Κύριος. | כִּ֣י לִי֮ כָּל בְּכוֹר֒ בְּיוֹם֩ הַכֹּתִ֨י כָל בְּכ֜וֹר בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם הִקְדַּ֨שְׁתִּי לִ֤י כָל בְּכוֹר֙ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵאָדָ֖ם עַד בְּהֵמָ֑ה לִ֥י יִהְי֖וּ אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה | Meum est enim omne primogenitum: ex quo percussi primogenitos in terra Ægypti, sanctificavi mihi quidquid primum nascitur in Israël: ab homine usque ad pecus, mei sunt. Ego Dominus. | for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am the LORD.” |
| 14 | And the Lord spoke to Moses in the desert of Sinai, saying: | ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Mô-sê trong sa mạc Xi-nai rằng: | Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σεινὰ λέγων | וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר יְהוָה֙ אֶל מֹשֶׁ֔ה בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר סִינַ֖י לֵאמֹֽר | Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen in deserto Sinai, dicens: | The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying, |
| 15 | Number the sons of Levi by the houses of their fathers and their families, every male from one month and upward. | “Hãy kiểm tra con cái Lê-vi theo gia tộc và thị tộc, tất cả đàn ông con trai tuổi từ một tháng trở lên, hãy ghi số.” | Ἐπίσκεψαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Λευεὶ κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν, κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἐπισκέψασθε αὐτούς. | פְּקֹד֙ אֶת בְּנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָ֖ם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם כָּל זָכָ֛ר מִבֶּן חֹ֥דֶשׁ וָמַ֖עְלָה תִּפְקְדֵֽם | Numera filios Levi per domos patrum suorum et familias, omnem masculum ab uno mense et supra. | “Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.” |
| 16 | Moses numbered them as the Lord had commanded. | Vậy, ông Mô-sê đã kiểm tra họ theo lệnh ĐỨC CHÚA, như Người đã truyền cho ông. | καὶ ἐπεσκέψαντο αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἀαρὼν διὰ φωνῆς Κυρίου, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν αὐτοῖς Κύριος. | וַיִּפְקֹ֥ד אֹתָ֛ם מֹשֶׁ֖ה עַל פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר צֻוָּֽה | Numeravit Moyses, ut præceperat Dominus, | Moses counted them according to the LORD’s word, as he was commanded. |
| 17 | And there were found sons of Levi by their names, Gerson and Caath and Merari. | Đây là con cái Lê-vi nêu đích danh: Ghéc-sôn, Cơ-hát, Mơ-ra-ri. | καὶ ἦσαν οὗτοι οἱ υἱοὶ Λευεὶ ἐξ ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν· Γεδσών, Καὰθ καὶ Μεραρεί. | וַיִּֽהְיוּ אֵ֥לֶּה בְנֵֽי לֵוִ֖י בִּשְׁמֹתָ֑ם גֵּרְשׁ֕וֹן וּקְהָ֖ת וּמְרָרִֽי | et inventi sunt filii Levi per nomina sua, Gerson et Caath et Merari. | These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. |
| 18 | The sons of Gerson: Lebni and Semei. | Và đây là tên con cái Ghéc-sôn theo thị tộc: Líp-ni và Sim-y. | καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Γεδσὼν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· Λοβενεὶ καὶ Σεμεεί. | וְאֵ֛לֶּה שְׁמ֥וֹת בְּֽנֵי גֵרְשׁ֖וֹן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם לִבְנִ֖י וְשִׁמְעִֽי | Filii Gerson: Lebni et Semei. | These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei. |
| 19 | The sons of Caath: Amram, and Jesaar, Hebron and Oziel: | Con cái Cơ-hát theo thị tộc là Am-ram và Gít-ha, Khép-rôn và Út-di-ên. | καὶ υἱοὶ Καὰθ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· Ἀμρὰμ καὶ Ἰσσαάρ, Χεβρὼν καὶ Ὀζειήλ. | וּבְנֵ֥י קְהָ֖ת לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֑ם עַמְרָ֣ם וְיִצְהָ֔ר חֶבְר֖וֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל | Filii Caath: Amram et Jesaar, Hebron et Oziel. | The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. |
| 20 | The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi. | Con cái Mơ-ra-ri theo thị tộc là Mác-li và Mu-si. | 21 | Of Gerson were two families, the Lebnites, and the Semeites: | Về phần Ghéc-sôn, có thị tộc Líp-ni và thị tộc Sim-y. Đó là các thị tộc thuộc dòng họ Ghéc-sôn. | Τῷ Γεδσὼν δῆμος τοῦ Λοβενεὶ καὶ δῆμος τοῦ Σεμεεί· οὗτοι δῆμοι τοῦ Γεδσών. | לְגֵ֣רְשׁ֔וֹן מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת֙ הַלִּבְנִ֔י וּמִשְׁפַּ֖חַת הַשִּׁמְעִ֑י אֵ֣לֶּה הֵ֔ם מִשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּֽי | De Gerson fuere familiæ duæ, Lebnitica, et Semeitica: | Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites. These are the families of the Gershonites. |

| 47 | Thou shalt take five sides for every head, according to the weight of the sanctuary. | 50 | For the firstborn of the children of Israel, one thousand three hundred and sixty-five sicles, according to the weight of the sanctuary, | Số bạc thu được của các trưởng nam trong số con cái Ít-ra-en là mười bốn ký, tính theo đơn vị đo lường của thánh điện. | παρὰ τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἔλαβεν τὸ ἀργύριον, χιλίους τριακοσίους ἑξήκοντα πέντε σίκλους, κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον. | מֵאֵ֗ת בְּכ֛וֹר בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לָקַ֣ח אֶת הַכָּ֑סֶף חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְשִׁשִּׁ֜ים וּשְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֛וֹת וָאֶ֖לֶף בְּשֶׁ֥קֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ | pro primogenitis filiorum Israël, mille trecentorum sexaginta quinque siclorum juxta pondus sanctuarii: | from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary; |
| 51 | And gave it to Aaron and his sons, according to the word that the Lord had commanded him. | Ông Mô-sê đã trao số tiền chuộc cho ông A-ha-ron và con cái ông này theo lệnh ĐỨC CHÚA, như Người đã truyền. | καὶ ἔδωκεν Μωυσῆς τὰ λύτρα τῶν πλεοναζόντων Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ, διὰ φωνῆς Κυρίου, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ. | וַיִּתֵּ֨ן מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת כֶּ֧סֶף הַפְּדֻיִ֛ם לְאַהֲרֹ֥ן וּלְבָנָ֖יו עַל פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת מֹשֶֽׁה | et dedit eam Aaron et filiis ejus juxta verbum quod præceperat sibi Dominus. | and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to the LORD’s word, as the LORD commanded Moses. |
