| 1 | And I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold a man, with a measuring line in his hand. | Tôi ngước mắt nhìn và thấy một thị kiến. Et dixit ad me: Ut metiar Jerusalem, et videam quanta sit latitudo ejus, et quanta longitudo ejus. | Then I asked, “Where are you going?” He said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width and what is its length.” |

| 4 | And he said to him: Run, speak to this young man, saying: Jerusalem shall be inhabited without walls, by reason of the multitude of men, and of the beasts in the midst thereof. | Tôi mới hỏi: “Lạy Đức Chúa, họ đến để làm gì vậy?” Và Người đáp lại rằng: “Những cái sừng đã làm cho Giu-đa phải tan tác, đến độ không ai cất đầu lên nổi, còn những người này đến để gây hãi hùng và triệt hạ các sừng của chư dân đang giương lên húc vào xứ Giu-đa, khiến nó phải tan tác.” | καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτὸν λέγων Δράμε καὶ λάλησον πρὸς τὸν νεανίαν ἐκεῖνον λέγων Κατακάρπως κατοικηθήσεται Ἰερουσαλὴμ ἀπὸ πλήθους ἀνθρώπων καὶ κτηνῶν ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς· | וָאֹמַ֕ר מָ֛ה אֵ֥לֶּה בָאִ֖ים לַֽעֲשׂ֑וֹת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לֵאמֹ֗ר אֵ֣לֶּה הַקְּרָנ֞וֹת אֲשֶׁר זֵ֣רוּ אֶת יְהוּדָ֗ה כְּפִי אִישׁ֙ לֹא נָשָׂ֣א רֹאשׁ֔וֹ וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ אֵ֨לֶּה֙ לְהַחֲרִ֣יד אֹתָ֔ם לְיַדּ֞וֹת אֶת קַרְנ֣וֹת הַגּוֹיִ֗ם הַנֹּשְׂאִ֥ים קֶ֛רֶן אֶל אֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָ֖ה לְזָרוֹתָֽהּ | et dixit ad eum: Curre, loquere ad puerum istum, dicens: Absque muro habitabitur Jerusalem, præ multitudine hominum et jumentorum in medio ejus. | and said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. |
| 5 | And I will be to it, saith the Lord, a wall of fire round about: and I will be in glory in the midst thereof. | Rồi tôi lại ngước mắt nhìn và thấy một thị kiến. Đây, có một người, tay cầm dây đo. | καὶ ἐγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῇ, λέγει Κύριος, τεῖχος πυρὸς κυκλόθεν, καὶ εἰς δόξαν ἔσομαι ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς. | וָאֶשָּׂ֥א עֵינַ֛י וָאֵ֖רֶא וְהִנֵּה אִ֑ישׁ וּבְיָד֖וֹ חֶ֥בֶל מִדָּֽה | Et ego ero ei, ait Dominus, murus ignis in circuitu, et in gloria ero in medio ejus. | For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the middle of her. |
| 6 | O, O flee ye out of the land of the north, saith the Lord, for I have scattered you into the four winds of heaven, saith the Lord. | Tôi hỏi người ấy: “Ông đi đâu?” Người ấy trả lời: “Đi đo Giê-ru-sa-lem xem thành ấy rộng bao nhiêu, dài bao nhiêu.” | ὢ ὢ φεύγετε ἀπὸ γῆς βορρᾶ, λέγει Κύριος, διότι ἐκ τῶν τεσσάρων ἀνέμων τοῦ οὐρανοῦ συνάξω ὑμᾶς, λέγει Κύριος· | וָאֹמַ֕ר אָ֖נָה אַתָּ֣ה הֹלֵ֑ךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י לָמֹד֙ אֶת יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לִרְא֥וֹת כַּמָּֽה רָחְבָּ֖הּ וְכַמָּ֥ה אָרְכָּֽהּ | [O, o, fugite de terra aquilonis, dicit Dominus, quoniam in quatuor ventos cæli dispersi vos, dicit Dominus. | Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north,’ says the LORD; ‘for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the sky,’ says the LORD. |
| 7 | O Sion, flee, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon: | Và đây, vị thần sứ từng nói với tôi tiến ra và một thần sứ khác tiến lại đón vị thần sứ ấy. | εἰς Σειὼν ἀνασώζεσθε, οἱ κατοικοῦντες θυγατέρα Βαβυλῶνος. | וְהִנֵּ֗ה הַמַּלְאָ֛ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֥ר בִּ֖י יֹצֵ֑א וּמַלְאָ֣ךְ אַחֵ֔ר יֹצֵ֖א לִקְרָאתֽוֹ | O Sion! fuge, quæ habitas apud filiam Babylonis: | ‘Come, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.’ |
| 8 | For thus saith the Lord of hosts: After the glory he hath sent me to the nations that have robbed you: for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of my eye: | Vị trước bảo vị sau: “Hãy chạy đi nói với người thanh niên kia rằng: Giê-ru-sa-lem phải là một thành rộng mở, sẽ có vô số người và súc vật đến cư ngụ ở đó. | διότι τάδε λέγει Κύριος Παντοκράτωρ Ὀπίσω δόξης ἀπέσταλκέν με ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη τὰ σκυλεύσαντα ὑμᾶς, διότι ὁ ἁπτόμενος ὑμῶν ὡς ἁπτόμενος τῆς κόρης τοῦ ὀφθαλμοῦ αὐτοῦ· | וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔ו רֻ֗ץ דַּבֵּ֛ר אֶל הַנַּ֥עַר הַלָּ֖ז לֵאמֹ֑ר פְּרָזוֹת֙ תֵּשֵׁ֣ב יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם מֵרֹ֥ב אָדָ֛ם וּבְהֵמָ֖ה בְּתוֹכָֽהּ | quia hæc dicit Dominus exercituum: Post gloriam misit me ad gentes quæ spoliaverunt vos: qui enim tetigerit vos, tangit pupillam oculi mei: | For the LORD of Armies says: ‘For honor he has sent me to the nations which plundered you; for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye. |
| 9 | For behold I lift up my hand upon them, and they shall be a prey to those that served them: and you shall know that the Lord of hosts sent me. | Phần Ta, sấm ngôn của ĐỨC CHÚA, Ta sẽ là tường luỹ bằng lửa bao quanh nó, và Ta sẽ là vinh quang ở giữa nó.” | διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπιφέρω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς, καὶ ἔσονται σκῦλα τοῖς δουλεύουσιν αὐτοῖς, καὶ γνώσεσθε ὅτι Κύριος Παντοκράτωρ ἀπέσταλκέν με. | וַאֲנִ֤י אֶֽהְיֶה לָּהּ֙ נְאֻם יְהוָ֔ה ח֥וֹמַת אֵ֖שׁ סָבִ֑יב וּלְכָב֖וֹד אֶֽהְיֶ֥ה בְתוֹכָֽהּ | quia ecce ego levo manum meam super eos, et erunt prædæ his qui serviebant sibi: et cognoscetis quia Dominus exercituum misit me. | For, behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they will be a plunder to those who served them; and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me. |
| 10 | Sing praise, and rejoice, O daughter of Sion: for behold I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee: saith the Lord. | Này! Này! Hãy trốn khỏi đất phương bắc,–sấm ngôn của ĐỨC CHÚA–vì Ta đã phân tán các ngươi đi bốn phương trời,– sấm ngôn của ĐỨC CHÚA. | τέρπου καὶ εὐφραίνου, θύγατερ Σειών, διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἔρχομαι καὶ κατασκηνώσω ἐν μέσῳ σου, λέγει Κύριος. | ה֣וֹי ה֗וֹי וְנֻ֛סוּ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ צָפ֖וֹן נְאֻם יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֠י כְּאַרְבַּ֞ע רוּח֧וֹת הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם פֵּרַ֥שְׂתִּי אֶתְכֶ֖ם נְאֻם יְהוָֽה | Lauda et lætare, filia Sion, quia ecce ego venio, et habitabo in medio tui, ait Dominus. | Sing and rejoice, daughter of Zion! For behold, I come and I will dwell within you,’ says the LORD. |
| 11 | And many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall be my people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee: and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me to thee. | Này hỡi Xi-on, hãy lo cứu lấy mạng,hỡi ngươi là kẻ đang cư ngụ tại đất Ba-by-lon. | καὶ καταφεύξονται ἔθνη πολλὰ ἐπὶ τὸν κύριον ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ, καὶ ἔσονται αὐτῷ εἰς λαόν, καὶ κατασκηνώσουσιν ἐν μέσῳ σου, καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ ὅτι Κύριος Παντοκράτωρ ἐξαπέσταλκέν με πρὸς σέ. | ה֥וֹי צִיּ֖וֹן הִמָּלְטִ֑י יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת בַּת בָּבֶֽל | Et applicabuntur gentes multæ ad Dominum in die illa, et erunt mihi in populum, et habitabo in medio tui: et scies quia Dominus exercituum misit me ad te. | Many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you. |
| 12 | And the Lord shall possess Juda his portion in the sanctified land: and he shall yet choose Jerusalem. | Bởi vì, – sau khi tôi được vinh quang Chúa sai đếnvới các dân tộc đã cướp phá các người, thì– ĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh phán thế này:“Kẻ nào động đến các ngươilà động đến con ngươi mắt Ta. | καὶ κατακληρονομήσει Κύριος τὸν Ἰούδαν, τῇ μερίδι αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τὴν ἁγίαν, καὶ αἱρετιεῖ ἔτι τὴν Ἰερουσαλήμ. | כִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָמַר֮ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאוֹת֒ אַחַ֣ר כָּב֔וֹד שְׁלָחַ֕נִי אֶל הַגּוֹיִ֖ם הַשֹּׁלְלִ֣ים אֶתְכֶ֑ם כִּ֚י הַנֹּגֵ֣עַ בָּכֶ֔ם נֹגֵ֖עַ בְּבָבַ֥ת עֵינֽוֹ | Et possidebit Dominus Judam partem suam in terra sanctificata, et eliget adhuc Jerusalem. | The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem. |
| 13 | Let all flesh be silent at the presence of the Lord: for he is risen up out of his. holy habitation. | Quả thế, này Ta giơ tay chống lại chúng,để chúng trở thành chiến lợi phẩmcho những kẻ đã phải làm tôi chúng.”Bấy giờ các người sẽ nhận biết rằngĐỨC CHÚA các đạo binh đã sai tôi đi. | εὐλαβείσθω πᾶσα σὰρξ ἀπὸ προσώπου Κυρίου, ὅτι ἐξεγήγερται ἐκ νεφελῶν ἁγίων αὐτοῦ. | כִּ֠י הִנְנִ֨י מֵנִ֤יף אֶת יָדִי֙ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וְהָי֥וּ שָׁלָ֖ל לְעַבְדֵיהֶ֑ם וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּֽי יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁלָחָֽנִי | Sileat omnis caro a facie Domini, quia consurrexit de habitaculo sancto suo.] | Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD; for he has roused himself from his holy habitation!” |
