| 2 | How long will you throw out words? understand first, and so let us speak. | Đến bao giờ các anh còn nói những lời độc địa?Cứ suy nghĩ, rồi chúng tôi sẽ nói cho hay. | Μέχρι τίνος οὐ παύσῃ; ἐπίσχες, ἵνα καὶ αὐτοὶ λαλήσωμεν. | עַד אָ֤נָה תְּשִׂימ֣וּן קִנְצֵ֣י לְמִלִּ֑ין תָּ֝בִ֗ינוּ וְאַחַ֥ר נְדַבֵּֽר | [Usque ad quem finem verba jactabitis? intelligite prius, et sic loquamur. | “How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and afterwards we will speak. |

| 4 | Thou that destroyest thy soul in thy fury, shall the earth be forsaken for thee, and shall rocks be removed out of their place? | Chính anh đã tự giày vò trong khi giận dữ,chẳng lẽ vì anh mà cả trái đất lại bị bỏ hoangvà núi đá chuyển mình dời chỗ? | κέχρηταί σοι ὀργή. τί γάρ; ἐὰν σὺ ἀποθάνῃς, ἀοίκητος ἡ ὑπ᾽ οὐρανόν; ἢ καταστραφήσεται ὄρη ἐκ θεμελίων; | טֹֽרֵ֥ף נַפְשׁ֗וֹ בְּאַ֫פּ֥וֹ הַ֭לְמַעַנְךָ תֵּעָ֣זַב אָ֑רֶץ וְיֶעְתַּק צ֝֗וּר מִמְּקֹמֽוֹ | Qui perdis animam tuam in furore tuo, numquid propter te derelinquetur terra, et transferentur rupes de loco suo? | You who tear yourself in your anger, will the earth be forsaken for you? Or will the rock be removed out of its place? |
| 5 | Shall not the light of the wicked be extinguished, and the flame of his fire not shine? | Phải, ánh sáng của ác nhân rồi sẽ tắt,đuốc phừng phừng của nó cũng không chiếu toả. | καὶ φῶς ἀσεβῶν σβεσθήσεται, καὶ οὐκ ἀποβήσεται αὐτῶν ἡ φλόξ. | גַּ֤ם א֣וֹר רְשָׁעִ֣ים יִדְעָ֑ךְ וְלֹֽא יִ֝גַּ֗הּ שְׁבִ֣יב אִשּֽׁוֹ | Nonne lux impii extinguetur, nec splendebit flamma ignis ejus? | “Yes, the light of the wicked will be put out. The spark of his fire won’t shine. |
| 6 | The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and the lamp that is over him, shall be put out. | Trong lều nó ở, ánh sáng thành bóng tối,đèn đóm cũng tắt luôn. | τὸ φῶς αὐτοῦ σκότος ἐν διαίτῃ, ὁ δὲ λύχνος αὐτῷ σβεσθήσεται. | א֭וֹר חָשַׁ֣ךְ בְּאָהֳל֑וֹ וְ֝נֵר֗וֹ עָלָ֥יו יִדְעָֽךְ | Lux obtenebrescet in tabernaculo illius, et lucerna quæ super eum est extinguetur. | The light will be dark in his tent. His lamp above him will be put out. |
| 7 | The step of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down headlong. | Bước đi của nó xưa kia vững chắc, giờ đây lảo đảo,mưu đồ của nó làm cho nó ngả nghiêng. | θηρεύσαισαν ἐλάχιστοι τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ, σφάλαι δὲ αὐτοῦ ἡ βουλή. | יֵֽ֭צְרוּ צַעֲדֵ֣י אוֹנ֑וֹ וְֽתַשְׁלִיכֵ֥הוּ עֲצָתֽוֹ | Arctabuntur gressus virtutis ejus, et præcipitabit eum consilium suum. | The steps of his strength will be shortened. His own counsel will cast him down. |
| 8 | For he hath thrust his feet into a net, and walketh in its meshes. | Bởi vì chân nó sa vào lưới, nó bước đi trên lưới đã giăng ra. | ἐμβέβληται δὲ ὁ ποὺς αὐτοῦ ἐν παγίδι· ἐν δικτύῳ ἑλιχθείη. | כִּֽי שֻׁלַּ֣ח בְּרֶ֣שֶׁת בְּרַגְלָ֑יו וְעַל שְׂ֝בָכָ֗ה יִתְהַלָּֽךְ | Immisit enim in rete pedes suos, et in maculis ejus ambulat. | For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he wanders into its mesh. |
| 9 | The sole of his foot shall be held in a snare, and thirst shall burn against him. | Cạm bẫy sập xuống trúng gót chân nó,và dò lưới siết chặt thân mình. | ἔλθοισαν δὲ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν παγίδες· ⸆ κατισχύσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν διψῶντας. | יֹאחֵ֣ז בְּעָקֵ֣ב פָּ֑ח יַחֲזֵ֖ק עָלָ֣יו צַמִּֽים | Tenebitur planta illius laqueo, et exardescet contra eum sitis. | A snare will take him by the heel. A trap will catch him. |
| 10 | A gin is hidden for him in the earth, and his trap upon the path. | Dây bắt nó giấu ngầm dưới đất,bẫy gài nó nằm ở trên đường. | κέκρυπται ἐν τῇ γῇ σχοινίον αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἡ σύλλημψις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τρίβων. | טָמ֣וּן בָּאָ֣רֶץ חַבְל֑וֹ וּ֝מַלְכֻּדְתּ֗וֹ עֲלֵ֣י נָתִֽיב | Abscondita est in terra pedica ejus, et decipula illius super semitam. | A noose is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him on the path. |
| 11 | Fears shall terrify him on every side, and shall entangle his feet. | Nó hoảng sợ vì bao nỗi kinh hoàng ập xuống từ khắp nơi,theo sát gót chân nó. | κύκλῳ ὀλέσαισαν αὐτὸν ὀδύναι· πολλοὶ δὲ περὶ πόδα αὐτοῦ ἔλθοισαν ἐν λιμῷ στενῷ, | סָ֭בִיב בִּֽעֲתֻ֣הוּ בַלָּה֑וֹת וֶהֱפִיצֻ֥הוּ לְרַגְלָֽיו | Undique terrebunt eum formidines, et involvent pedes ejus. | Terrors will make him afraid on every side, and will chase him at his heels. |
| 12 | Let his strength be wasted with famine, and let hunger invade his ribs. | Đói khát trở nên bạn đồng hành,tai ương không ngớt nằm bên cạnh. | πτῶμα δὲ αὐτῷ ἡτοίμασται ἐξαίσιον. | יְהִי רָעֵ֥ב אֹנ֑וֹ וְ֝אֵ֗יד נָכ֥וֹן לְצַלְעֽוֹ | Attenuetur fame robur ejus, et inedia invadat costas illius. | His strength will be famished. Calamity will be ready at his side. |
| 13 | Let it devour the beauty of his skin, let the firstborn death consume his arms. | Bệnh tật làm hao mòn da thịt nó,tử thần lấy đi nhiều phần thân thể. | βρωθείησαν αὐτοῦ κλῶνες ποδῶν, κατέδεται δὲ τὰ ὡραῖα αὐτοῦ θάνατος. | יֹ֭אכַל בַּדֵּ֣י עוֹר֑וֹ יֹאכַ֥ל בַּ֝דָּ֗יו בְּכ֣וֹר מָֽוֶת | Devoret pulchritudinem cutis ejus; consumat brachia illius primogenita mors. | The members of his body will be devoured. The firstborn of death will devour his members. |
| 14 | Let his confidence be rooted out of his tabernacle, and let destruction tread upon him like a king. | Nó đã bị lôi ra khỏi lều, và hết còn được sống yên ổn,lại bị dẫn đến gặp Vua Tàn Ác. | ἐκραγείη δὲ ἐκ διαίτης αὐτοῦ ἴασις, σχοίη δὲ αὐτὸν ἀνάγκη αἰτίᾳ βασιλικῇ. | יִנָּתֵ֣ק מֵ֭אָהֳלוֹ מִבְטַח֑וֹ וְ֝תַצְעִדֵ֗הוּ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ בַּלָּהֽוֹת | Avellatur de tabernaculo suo fiducia ejus, et calcet super eum, quasi rex, interitus. | He will be rooted out of the security of his tent. He will be brought to the king of terrors. |
| 15 | Let the companions of him that is not, dwell in his tabernacle, let brimstone be sprinkled in his tent. | Người ta sẽ cư ngụ trong lều nó đã ởnhưng nay chẳng còn thuộc về nó,và sẽ rắc lưu huỳnh tại nơi nó thường chăn súc vật. | κατασκηνώσει ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ αὐτοῦ ἐν νυκτὶ αὐτοῦ, κατασπαρήσονται τὰ εὐπρεπῆ αὐτοῦ θείῳ. | תִּשְׁכּ֣וֹן בְּ֭אָהֳלוֹ מִבְּלִי ל֑וֹ יְזֹרֶ֖ה עַל נָוֵ֣הוּ גָפְרִֽית | Habitent in tabernaculo illius socii ejus qui non est; aspergatur in tabernaculo ejus sulphur. | There will dwell in his tent that which is none of his. Sulfur will be scattered on his habitation. |
| 16 | Let his roots be dried up beneath, and his harvest destroyed above. | Phía dưới, rễ héo khô, phía trên, cành bị đốn. | ὑποκάτωθεν αἱ ῥίζαι αὐτοῦ ξηρανθήσονται, καὶ ἐπάνωθεν ἐπιπεσεῖται θερισμὸς αὐτοῦ. | מִ֭תַּחַת שָֽׁרָשָׁ֣יו יִבָ֑שׁוּ וּ֝מִמַּ֗עַל יִמַּ֥ל קְצִירֽוֹ | Deorsum radices ejus siccentur: sursum autem atteratur messis ejus. | His roots will be dried up beneath. His branch will be cut off above. |
| 17 | Let the memory of him perish from the earth and let not his name be renowned in the streets. | Chẳng ai trong xứ còn nhớ đến nó nữa,tên nó cũng không được nhắc đến trong miền. | τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτοῦ ἀπόλοιτο ἐκ γῆς, καὶ ὑπάρχει ὄνομα αὐτῷ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ἐξωτέρω· | זִֽכְרוֹ אָ֭בַד מִנִּי אָ֑רֶץ וְלֹא שֵׁ֥ם ל֝֗וֹ עַל פְּנֵי חֽוּץ | Memoria illius pereat de terra, et non celebretur nomen ejus in plateis. | His memory will perish from the earth. He will have no name in the street. |
| 18 | He shall drive him out of light into darkness, and shall remove him out of the world. | Nó bị tống khỏi chỗ đầy ánh sáng đến chốn tối tăm,bị đuổi khỏi nơi có người cư ngụ. | ἀπώσειεν αὐτὸν ἐκ φωτὸς εἰς σκότος. | יֶ֭הְדְּפֻהוּ מֵא֣וֹר אֶל חֹ֑שֶׁךְ וּֽמִתֵּבֵ֥ל יְנִדֻּֽהוּ | Expellet eum de luce in tenebras, et de orbe transferet eum. | He will be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world. |
| 19 | His seed shall not subsist, nor his offspring among his people, nor any remnants in his country. | Trong dân mình, nó sẽ chẳng có con có cháu,tại nhà nó ở, sẽ chẳng còn sống sót một ai. | οὐκ ἔσται ἐπίγνωστος ἐν λαῷ αὐτοῦ, οὐδὲ σεσωσμένος ἐν τῇ ὑπ᾽ οὐρανὸν ὁ οἶκος αὐτοῦ, ἀλλ᾽ ἐν τοῖς αὐτοῦ ζήσονται ἕτεροι. | לֹ֘א נִ֤ין ל֣וֹ וְלֹא נֶ֣כֶד בְּעַמּ֑וֹ וְאֵ֥ין שָׂ֝רִ֗יד בִּמְגוּרָֽיו | Non erit semen ejus, neque progenies in populo suo, nec ullæ reliquiæ in regionibus ejus. | He will have neither son nor grandson among his people, nor any remaining where he lived. |
| 20 | They that come after him shall be astonished at his day, and horror shall fall upon them that went before. | Khi thấy nó đến ngày tận số,người Phương Tây kinh hoàng, người Phương Đông sợ hãi. | ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἐστέναξαν ἔσχατοι, πρώτους δὲ ἔσχεν θαῦμα. | עַל י֭וֹמוֹ נָשַׁ֣מּוּ אַחֲרֹנִ֑ים וְ֝קַדְמֹנִ֗ים אָ֣חֲזוּ שָֽׂעַר | In die ejus stupebunt novissimi, et primos invadet horror. | Those who come after will be astonished at his day, as those who went before were frightened. |
| 21 | These men are the tabernacles of the wicked, and this the place of him that knoweth not God. | Quả thật, chỗ cư ngụ của kẻ bất công là như thế,nơi sinh sống của người không biết Thiên Chúa là như vậy! | οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ οἶκοι ἀδίκων, οὗτος δὲ ὁ τόπος τῶν μὴ εἰδότων τὸν κύριον. | אַךְ אֵ֭לֶּה מִשְׁכְּנ֣וֹת עַוָּ֑ל וְ֝זֶ֗ה מְק֣וֹם לֹא יָדַֽע אֵֽל | Hæc sunt ergo tabernacula iniqui, et iste locus ejus qui ignorat Deum.] | Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous. This is the place of him who doesn’t know God.” |
