| 3 | And they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulchre? | Các bà bảo nhau: “Ai sẽ lăn tảng đá ra khỏi cửa mộ giùm ta đây?” | καὶ ἔλεγον πρὸς ἑαυτάς· Τίς ἀποκυλίσει ἡμῖν τὸν λίθον ⸀ἐκ τῆς θύρας τοῦ μνημείου; | Et dicebant ad invicem: Quis revolvet nobis lapidem ab ostio monumenti? | They were saying among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” |
| 4 | And looking, they saw the stone rolled back. For it was very great. | Nhưng vừa ngước mắt lên, các bà đã thấy tảng đá lăn ra một bên rồi, mà tảng đá ấy lớn lắm. | καὶ ἀναβλέψασαι θεωροῦσιν ὅτι ⸀ἀποκεκύλισται ὁ λίθος, ἦν γὰρ μέγας σφόδρα. | Et respicientes viderunt revolutum lapidem. Erat quippe magnus valde. | for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back. |
| 5 | And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe: and they were astonished. | Vào trong mộ, các bà thấy một người thanh niên ngồi bên phải, mặc áo trắng; các bà hoảng sợ. | καὶ εἰσελθοῦσαι εἰς τὸ μνημεῖον εἶδον νεανίσκον καθήμενον ἐν τοῖς δεξιοῖς περιβεβλημένον στολὴν λευκήν, καὶ ἐξεθαμβήθησαν. | Et introëuntes in monumentum viderunt juvenem sedentem in dextris, coopertum stola candida, et obstupuerunt. | Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe; and they were amazed. |
| 6 | Who saith to them: Be not affrighted; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen, he is not here, behold the place where they laid him. | Nhưng người thanh niên liền nói: “Đừng hoảng sợ! Các bà tìm Đức Giê-su Na-da-rét, Đấng bị đóng đinh chứ gì! Người đã trỗi dậy rồi, không còn đây nữa. Chỗ đã đặt Người đây này! | ὁ δὲ λέγει αὐταῖς· Μὴ ἐκθαμβεῖσθε· Ἰησοῦν ζητεῖτε τὸν Ναζαρηνὸν τὸν ἐσταυρωμένον· ἠγέρθη, οὐκ ἔστιν ὧδε· ἴδε ὁ τόπος ὅπου ἔθηκαν αὐτόν· | Qui dicit illis: Nolite expavescere: Jesum quæritis Nazarenum, crucifixum: surrexit, non est hic, ecce locus ubi posuerunt eum. | He said to them, “Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him! |
| 7 | But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee; there you shall see him, as he told you. | Xin các bà về nói với môn đệ Người và ông Phê-rô rằng Người sẽ đến Ga-li-lê trước các ông. There you will see him, as he said to you.’” |
| 8 | But they going out, fled from the sepulchre. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid. |
| 9 | But he rising early the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalen, out of whom he had cast seven devils. | Sau khi sống lại vào lúc tảng sáng ngày thứ nhất trong tuần, Đức Giê-su hiện ra trước tiên với bà Ma-ri-a Mác-đa-la, là kẻ đã được Người trừ cho khỏi bảy quỷ. | ⟦Ἀναστὰς δὲ πρωῒ πρώτῃ σαββάτου ἐφάνη πρῶτον Μαρίᾳ τῇ Μαγδαληνῇ, ⸀παρ’ ἧς ἐκβεβλήκει ἑπτὰ δαιμόνια. | Surgens autem mane prima sabbati, apparuit primo Mariæ Magdalene, de qua ejecerat septem dæmonia. | Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. |
| 10 | She went and told them that had been with him, who were mourning and weeping. | Bà đi báo tin cho những kẻ đã từng sống với Người mà nay đang buồn bã khóc lóc. | ἐκείνη πορευθεῖσα ἀπήγγειλεν τοῖς μετ’ αὐτοῦ γενομένοις πενθοῦσι καὶ κλαίουσιν· | Illa vadens nuntiavit his, qui cum eo fuerant, lugentibus et flentibus. | She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. |
| 11 | And they hearing that he was alive, and had been seen by her, did not believe. | Nghe bà nói Người đang sống và bà đã thấy Người, các ông vẫn không tin. | κἀκεῖνοι ἀκούσαντες ὅτι ζῇ καὶ ἐθεάθη ὑπ’ αὐτῆς ἠπίστησαν. | Et illi audientes quia viveret, et visus esset ab ea, non crediderunt. | When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they disbelieved. |
| 12 | And after that he appeared in another shape to two of them walking, as they were going into the country. | Sau đó, Người tỏ mình ra dưới một hình dạng khác cho hai người trong nhóm các ông, khi họ đang trên đường đi về quê. | Μετὰ δὲ ταῦτα δυσὶν ἐξ αὐτῶν περιπατοῦσιν ἐφανερώθη ἐν ἑτέρᾳ μορφῇ πορευομένοις εἰς ἀγρόν· | Post hæc autem duobus ex his ambulantibus ostensus est in alia effigie, euntibus in villam: | After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them as they walked, on their way into the country. |
| 13 | And they going told it to the rest: neither did they believe them. | Họ trở về báo tin cho các ông khác, nhưng các ông ấy cũng không tin hai người này. | κἀκεῖνοι ἀπελθόντες ἀπήγγειλαν τοῖς λοιποῖς· οὐδὲ ἐκείνοις ἐπίστευσαν. | et illi euntes nuntiaverunt ceteris: nec illis crediderunt. | They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either. |
| 14 | At length he appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again. | Sau cùng, Người tỏ mình ra cho chính Nhóm Mười Một đang khi các ông dùng bữa. Người khiển trách các ông không tin và cứng lòng, bởi lẽ các ông không chịu tin những kẻ đã được thấy Người sau khi Người trỗi dậy. | Ὕστερον ⸀δὲ ἀνακειμένοις αὐτοῖς τοῖς ἕνδεκα ἐφανερώθη, καὶ ὠνείδισεν τὴν ἀπιστίαν αὐτῶν καὶ σκληροκαρδίαν ὅτι τοῖς θεασαμένοις αὐτὸν ⸀ἐγηγερμένον οὐκ ἐπίστευσαν. | Novissime recumbentibus illis undecim apparuit: et exprobravit incredulitatem eorum et duritiam cordis: quia iis, qui viderant eum resurrexisse, non crediderunt. | Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table; and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen. |
| 15 | And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. | Người nói với các ông: “Anh em hãy đi khắp tứ phương thiên hạ, loan báo Tin Mừng cho mọi loài thụ tạo. | καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς· Πορευθέντες εἰς τὸν κόσμον ἅπαντα κηρύξατε τὸ εὐαγγέλιον πάσῃ τῇ κτίσει. | Et dixit eis: Euntes in mundum universum prædicate Evangelium omni creaturæ. | He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to the whole creation. |
| 16 | He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned. | Ai tin và chịu phép rửa, sẽ được cứu độ; còn ai không tin, thì sẽ bị kết án. | ὁ πιστεύσας καὶ βαπτισθεὶς σωθήσεται, ὁ δὲ ἀπιστήσας κατακριθήσεται. | Qui crediderit, et baptizatus fuerit, salvus erit: qui vero non crediderit, condemnabitur. | He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned. |
| 17 | And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues. | Đây là những dấu lạ sẽ đi theo những ai có lòng tin: nhân danh Thầy, họ sẽ trừ được quỷ, sẽ nói được những tiếng mới lạ. | σημεῖα δὲ τοῖς πιστεύσασιν ⸂ταῦτα παρακολουθήσει⸃, ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου δαιμόνια ἐκβαλοῦσιν, γλώσσαις λαλήσουσιν ⸀καιναῖς, | Signa autem eos qui crediderint, hæc sequentur: in nomine meo dæmonia ejicient: linguis loquentur novis: | These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages; |
| 18 | They shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover. | Họ sẽ cầm được rắn, và dù có uống nhằm thuốc độc, thì cũng chẳng sao. Và nếu họ đặt tay trên những người bệnh, thì những người này sẽ được mạnh khoẻ.” | ⸀ὄφεις ἀροῦσιν κἂν θανάσιμόν τι πίωσιν οὐ μὴ αὐτοὺς βλάψῃ, ἐπὶ ἀρρώστους χεῖρας ἐπιθήσουσιν καὶ καλῶς ἕξουσιν. | serpentes tollent: et si mortiferum quid biberint, non eis nocebit: super ægros manus imponent, et bene habebunt. | they will take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” |
| 19 | And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God. | Nói xong, Chúa Giê-su được đưa lên trời và ngự bên hữu Thiên Chúa. | Ὁ μὲν οὖν κύριος ⸀Ἰησοῦς μετὰ τὸ λαλῆσαι αὐτοῖς ἀνελήμφθη εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐκ δεξιῶν τοῦ θεοῦ. | Et Dominus quidem Jesus postquam locutus est eis, assumptus est in cælum, et sedet a dextris Dei. | So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. |
| 20 | But they going forth preached every where: the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed. | Còn các Tông Đồ thì ra đi rao giảng khắp nơi, có Chúa cùng hoạt động với các ông, và dùng những dấu lạ kèm theo mà xác nhận lời các ông rao giảng. | ἐκεῖνοι δὲ ἐξελθόντες ἐκήρυξαν πανταχοῦ, τοῦ κυρίου συνεργοῦντος καὶ τὸν λόγον βεβαιοῦντος διὰ τῶν ἐπακολουθούντων ⸀σημείων.⟧ | Illi autem profecti prædicaverunt ubique, Domino cooperante, et sermonem confirmante, sequentibus signis. | They went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen. |
