1	And the people marched from Haseroth, and pitched their tents in the desert of Pharan.	ĐỨC CHÚA phán với ông Mô-sê:	καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξῆρεν ὁ λαὸς ἐξ Ἁσηρώθ, καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Φαράν.	וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר	Profectusque est populus de Haseroth, fixis tentoriis in deserto Pharan.	The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2	And there the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	“Ngươi hãy sai người đi do thám đất Ca-na-an, đất mà Ta sẽ ban cho con cái Ít-ra-en. Các ngươi sẽ sai đi mỗi chi tộc một người và tất cả phải là kỳ mục trong dân.”	Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρός Μωυσῆν λέγων	שְׁלַח לְךָ֣ אֲנָשִׁ֗ים וְיָתֻ֨רוּ֙ אֶת אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן אֲשֶׁר אֲנִ֥י נֹתֵ֖ן לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אִ֣ישׁ אֶחָד֩ אִ֨ישׁ אֶחָ֜ד לְמַטֵּ֤ה אֲבֹתָיו֙ תִּשְׁלָ֔חוּ כֹּ֖ל נָשִׂ֥יא בָהֶֽם	Ibique locutus est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:	“Send men, that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel. Of every tribe of their fathers, you shall send a man, every one a prince among them.”
3	Send men to view the land of Chanaan, which I will give to the children of Israel, one of every tribe, of the rulers.	Vậy từ sa mạc Pa-ran, ông Mô-sê đã sai họ đi, theo lệnh ĐỨC CHÚA truyền. Tất cả họ đều là những người đứng đầu trong con cái Ít-ra-en.	Ἀπόστειλον σεαυτῷ ἄνδρας, καὶ κατασκεψάσθωσαν τὴν γῆν τῶν Χαναναίων, ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ εἰς κατάσχεσιν· ἄνδρα ἕνα κατὰ φυλήν, κατὰ δήμους πατριῶν αὐτῶν ἀποστείλας αὐτούς, πάντα ἀρχηγὸν ἐξ αὐτῶν.	וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח אֹתָ֥ם מֹשֶׁ֛ה מִמִּדְבַּ֥ר פָּארָ֖ן עַל פִּ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כֻּלָּ֣ם אֲנָשִׁ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֥י בְנֵֽי יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הֵֽמָּה	Mitte viros, qui considerent terram Chanaan, quam daturus sum filiis Israël, singulos de singulis tribubus, ex principibus.	Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran according to the commandment of the LORD. All of them were men who were heads of the children of Israel.
4	Moses did what the Lord had commanded, sending from the desert of Pharan, principal men, whose names are these:	Đây là danh sách họ: Thuộc chi tộc Rưu-vên, có ông Sam-mu-a, con ông Dắc-cua.	καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς ἐκ τῆς ἐρήμου Φαρὰν διὰ φωνῆς Κυρίου· πάντες ἄνδρες ἀρχηγοὶ υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ οὗτοι.	וְאֵ֖לֶּה שְׁמוֹתָ֑ם לְמַטֵּ֣ה רְאוּבֵ֔ן שַׁמּ֖וּעַ בֶּן זַכּֽוּר	Fecit Moyses quod Dominus imperaverat, de deserto Pharan mittens principes viros, quorum ista sunt nomina.	These were their names: Of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.
5	Of the tribe of Ruben, Sammua the son of Zechur.	Thuộc chi tộc Si-mê-ôn, có ông Sa-phát, con ông Khô-ri.	καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν· τῆς φυλῆς Ῥουβήν, Σαμουὴλ υἱὸς Ζάκχυρ.	לְמַטֵּ֣ה שִׁמְע֔וֹן שָׁפָ֖ט בֶּן חוֹרִֽי	De tribu Ruben, Sammua filium Zechur.	Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori.

16	Of the tribe of Gad, Guel the son of Machi.	Đó là tên những người ông Mô-sê sai đi do thám đất. Rồi ông Mô-sê đặt tên cho Hô-sê-a, con ông Nun, là Giô-suê.	τῆς φυλῆς Γάδ, Γουδιὴλ υἱὸς Μακχί.	אֵ֚לֶּה שְׁמ֣וֹת הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים אֲשֶׁר שָׁלַ֥ח מֹשֶׁ֖ה לָת֣וּר אֶת הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיִּקְרָ֥א מֹשֶׁ֛ה לְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ בִּן נ֖וּן יְהוֹשֻֽׁעַ	De tribu Gad, Guel filium Machi.	These are the names of the men who Moses sent to spy out the land. Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Joshua.
17	These are the names of the men, whom Moses sent to view the land: and he called Osee the son of Nun, Josue.	Ông Mô-sê sai họ đi do thám đất Ca-na-an. Ông bảo họ: “Anh em hãy qua miền Ne-ghép mà lên, lên miền núi.	ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν ἀνδρῶν οὓς ἀπέστειλεν Μωυσῆς κατασκέψασθαι τὴν γῆν. καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν Μωυσῆς τὸν Αὑσὴ υἱὸν Ναυὴ Ἰησοῦν.	וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח אֹתָם֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה לָת֖וּר אֶת אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם עֲל֥וּ זֶה֙ בַּנֶּ֔גֶב וַעֲלִיתֶ֖ם אֶת הָהָֽר	Hæc sunt nomina virorum, quos misit Moyses ad considerandam terram: vocavitque Osee filium Nun, Josue.	Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, “Go up this way by the South, and go up into the hill country.
18	And Moses sent them to view the land of Chanaan, and said to them: Go you up by the south side. And when you shall come to the mountains,	Anh em sẽ xem đất, xem nó thế nào, dân ở đó mạnh hay yếu, ít hay nhiều,	καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς κατασκέψασθαι τὴν γῆν Χανάαν καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Ἀνάβητε ταύτῃ τῇ ἐρήμῳ, καὶ ἀναβήσεσθε εἰς τὸ ὄρος·	וּרְאִיתֶ֥ם אֶת הָאָ֖רֶץ מַה הִ֑וא וְאֶת הָעָם֙ הַיֹּשֵׁ֣ב עָלֶ֔יהָ הֶחָזָ֥ק הוּא֙ הֲרָפֶ֔ה הַמְעַ֥ט ה֖וּא אִם רָֽב	Misit ergo eos Moyses ad considerandam terram Chanaan, et dixit ad eos: Ascendite per meridianam plagam. Cumque veneritis ad montes,	See the land, what it is; and the people who dwell therein, whether they are strong or weak, whether they are few or many;
19	View the land, of what sort it is: and the people that are the inhabitants thereof, whether they be strong or weak: few in number or many:	đất họ ở tốt hay xấu, thành thị của họ là lều trại hay đồn luỹ,	καὶ ὄψεσθε τὴν γῆν τίς ἐστιν, καὶ τὸν λαὸν τὸν ἐνκαθήμενον ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς, εἰ ἰσχυρότερός ἐστιν ἢ ἀσθενής, ἢ ὀλίγοι εἰσὶν ἢ πολλοί·	וּמָ֣ה הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁר הוּא֙ יֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּ֔הּ הֲטוֹבָ֥ה הִ֖וא אִם רָעָ֑ה וּמָ֣ה הֶֽעָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר הוּא֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּהֵ֔נָּה הַבְּמַֽחֲנִ֖ים אִ֥ם בְּמִבְצָרִֽים	considerate terram, qualis sit: et populum qui habitator est ejus, utrum fortis sit an infirmus: si pauci numero an plures:	and what the land is that they dwell in, whether it is good or bad; and what cities they are that they dwell in, whether in camps, or in strongholds;
20	The land itself, whether it be good or bad: what manner of cities, walled or without walls:	đất đai màu mỡ hay cằn cỗi, có cây cối hay không. Anh em hãy can đảm, và lấy ít hoa trái miền đó đem về.” Bấy giờ là đầu mùa nho.	καὶ τίς ἡ γῆ εἰς ἣν οὗτοι ἐνκάθηνται ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς, ἢ καλή ἐστιν ἢ πονηρά· καὶ τίνες αἱ πόλεις εἰς ἃς οὗτοι κατοικοῦσιν ἐν αὐταῖς, ἢ ἐν τειχήρεσιν ἢ ἐν ἀτειχίσταις·	וּמָ֣ה הָ֠אָרֶץ הַשְּׁמֵנָ֨ה הִ֜וא אִם רָזָ֗ה הֲיֵֽשׁ בָּ֥הּ עֵץ֙ אִם אַ֔יִן וְהִ֨תְחַזַּקְתֶּ֔ם וּלְקַחְתֶּ֖ם מִפְּרִ֣י הָאָ֑רֶץ וְהַ֨יָּמִ֔ים יְמֵ֖י בִּכּוּרֵ֥י עֲנָבִֽים	ipsa terra, bona an mala: urbes quales, muratæ an absque muris:	and what the land is, whether it is fertile or poor, whether there is wood therein, or not. Be courageous, and bring some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the time of the first-ripe grapes.
21	The ground, fat or barren, woody or without trees. Be of good courage, and bring us of the fruits of the land. Now it was the time when the first ripe grapes are fit to be eaten.	Họ đi lên và do thám đất, từ sa mạc Xin đến Rơ-khốp, trên đường vào Cửa Ải Kha-mát.	καὶ τίς ἡ γῆ, ἢ πίων ἢ παρειμένη, ἢ ἔστιν ἐν αὐτῇ δένδρα ἢ οὔ. καὶ προσκαρτερήσαντες λήμψεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν καρπῶν τῆς γῆς. καὶ αἱ ἡμέραι ἡμέραι ἔαρος, πρόδρομοι σταφυλῆς.	וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּ וַיָּתֻ֣רוּ אֶת הָאָ֑רֶץ מִמִּדְבַּר צִ֥ן עַד רְחֹ֖ב לְבֹ֥א חֲמָֽת	humus, pinguis an sterilis, nemorosa an absque arboribus. Confortamini, et afferte nobis de fructibus terræ. Erat autem tempus quando jam præcoquæ uvæ vesci possunt.	So they went up, and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, to the entrance of Hamath.
22	And when they were gone up, they viewed the land from the desert of Sin, unto Rohob as you enter into Emath.	Họ qua miền Ne-ghép đi lên và tới tận Khép-rôn, ở đó có A-khi-man, Sê-sai và Tan-mai là con cháu của A-nác. Khép-rôn đã được xây bảy năm trước Xô-an bên Ai-cập.	καὶ ἀναβάντες κατεσκέψαντο τὴν γῆν ἀπὸ τῆς ἐρήμου Σεὶν ἕως Ῥαάβ, εἰσπορευομένων Ἑφαάθ.	וַיַּעֲל֣וּ בַנֶּגֶב֮ וַיָּבֹ֣א עַד חֶבְרוֹן֒ וְשָׁ֤ם אֲחִימַן֙ שֵׁשַׁ֣י וְתַלְמַ֔י יְלִידֵ֖י הָעֲנָ֑ק וְחֶבְר֗וֹן שֶׁ֤בַע שָׁנִים֙ נִבְנְתָ֔ה לִפְנֵ֖י צֹ֥עַן מִצְרָֽיִם	Cumque ascendissent, exploraverunt terram a deserto Sin, usque Rohob intrantibus Emath.	They went up by the South, and came to Hebron; and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
23	And they went up at the south side, and came to Hebron, where were Achiman and Sisai and Tholmai the sons of Enac. For Hebron was built seven years before Tanis the city of Egypt.	Họ vào đến thung lũng Ét-côn, ở đó họ chặt một nhành nho và một chùm nho, rồi hai người dùng sào mà khiêng, họ cũng lấy cả lựu và vả.	καὶ ἀνέβησαν κατὰ τὴν ἔρημον καὶ ἦλθον ἕως Χεβρών, καὶ ἐκεῖ Ἀχειμὰν καὶ Σεσσεὶ καὶ Θελαμείν, γενεαὶ Ἐνάχ· καὶ Χεβρὼν ἑπτὰ ἔτεσιν ᾠκοδομήθη πρὸ τοῦ Τάνιν Αἰγύπτου.	וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ עַד נַ֣חַל אֶשְׁכֹּ֗ל וַיִּכְרְת֨וּ מִשָּׁ֤ם זְמוֹרָה֙ וְאֶשְׁכּ֤וֹל עֲנָבִים֙ אֶחָ֔ד וַיִּשָּׂאֻ֥הוּ בַמּ֖וֹט בִּשְׁנָ֑יִם וּמִן הָרִמֹּנִ֖ים וּמִן הַתְּאֵנִֽים	Ascenderuntque ad meridiem, et venerunt in Hebron, ubi erant Achiman et Sisai et Tholmai filii Enac: nam Hebron septem annis ante Tanim urbem Ægypti condita est.	They came to the valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it on a staff between two. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs.
24	And going forward as far as the torrent of the cluster of grapes, they cut off a branch with its cluster of grapes, which two men carried upon a lever. They took also of the pomegranates and of the figs of that place:	Người ta gọi nơi ấy là thung lũng Ét-côn, vì chùm nho mà con cái Ít-ra-en đã hái ở đó.Đnl 1,25-28	καὶ ἦλθον ἕως Φάραγγος βότρυος, καὶ κατεσκέψαντο αὐτήν· καὶ ἔκοψαν ἐκεῖθεν κλήματα καὶ βότρυν σταφυλῆς ἕνα ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἦραν αὐτὸν ἐπ᾽ ἀναφορεῦσιν, καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ῥοῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν σικύων.	לַמָּק֣וֹם הַה֔וּא קָרָ֖א נַ֣חַל אֶשְׁכּ֑וֹל עַ֚ל אֹד֣וֹת הָֽאֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל אֲשֶׁר כָּרְת֥וּ מִשָּׁ֖ם בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל	Pergentesque usque ad Torrentem botri, absciderunt palmitem cum uva sua, quem portaverunt in vecte duo viri. De malis quoque granatis et de ficis loci illius tulerunt:	That place was called the valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from there.
25	Which was called Nehelescol, that is to say, the torrent of the cluster of grapes, because from thence the children of Israel had carried a cluster of grapes.	Sau bốn mươi ngày do thám đất, họ trở về.	τὸν τόπον ἐκεῖνον ἐπωνόμασαν Φάραγξ βότρυος, διὰ τὸν βότρυν ὃν ἔκοψαν ἐκεῖθεν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ.	וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ מִתּ֣וּר הָאָ֑רֶץ מִקֵּ֖ץ אַרְבָּעִ֥ים יֽוֹם	qui appellatus est Nehelescol, id est Torrens botri, eo quod botrum portassent inde filii Israël.	They returned from spying out the land at the end of forty days.
26	And they that went to spy out the land returned after forty days, having gone round all the country,	Họ đến gặp ông Mô-sê, ông A-ha-ron và toàn thể cộng đồng con cái Ít-ra-en, tại Ca-đê trong sa mạc Pa-ran. Họ báo cáo với hai ông và toàn thể cộng đồng con cái Ít-ra-en, và cho những người đó xem hoa trái miền ấy.	Καὶ ἀπέστρεψαν ἐκεῖθεν κατασκεψάμενοι τὴν γῆν μετὰ τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας.	וַיֵּלְכ֡וּ וַיָּבֹאוּ֩ אֶל מֹשֶׁ֨ה וְאֶֽל אַהֲרֹ֜ן וְאֶל כָּל עֲדַ֧ת בְּנֵֽי יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֶל מִדְבַּ֥ר פָּארָ֖ן קָדֵ֑שָׁה וַיָּשִׁ֨יבוּ אוֹתָ֤ם דָּבָר֙ וְאֶת כָּל הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה וַיַּרְא֖וּם אֶת פְּרִ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ	Reversique exploratores terræ post quadraginta dies, omni regione circuita,	They went and came to Moses, to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them and to all the congregation. They showed them the fruit of the land.
27	And came to Moses and Aaron and to all the assembly of the children of Israel to the desert of Pharan, which is in Cades. And speaking to them and to all the multitude, they shewed them the fruits of the land:	Họ thuật lại với ông Mô-sê rằng: “Chúng tôi đã vào miền đất ông sai chúng tôi đến. Locutique eis et omni multitudini ostenderunt fructus terræ:	They told him, and said, “We came to the land where you sent us. Surely it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit.
28	And they related and said: We came into the land to which thou sentest us, which in very deed floweth with milk and honey as may be known by these fruits:	Thế nhưng dân cư miền ấy thì mạnh, thành thị lại kiên cố và rộng lớn lắm; ở đó chúng tôi còn thấy cả con cháu A-nác.	καὶ διηγήσαντο αὐτῷ καὶ εἶπαν Ἤλθαμεν εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ἀπέστειλας ἡμᾶς, γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι, καὶ οὗτος ὁ καρπὸς αὐτῆς·	אֶ֚פֶס כִּֽי עַ֣ז הָעָ֔ם הַיֹּשֵׁ֖ב בָּאָ֑רֶץ וְהֶֽעָרִ֗ים בְּצֻר֤וֹת גְּדֹלֹת֙ מְאֹ֔ד וְגַם יְלִדֵ֥י הָֽעֲנָ֖ק רָאִ֥ינוּ שָֽׁם	et narraverunt, dicentes: Venimus in terram, ad quam misisti nos, quæ revera fluit lacte et melle, ut ex his fructibus cognosci potest:	However, the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. Moreover, we saw the children of Anak there.
29	But it hath very strong inhabitants, and the cities are great and walled. We saw there the race of Enac.	Có người A-ma-lếch ở miền Ne-ghép, người Khết, người Giơ-vút và người E-mô-ri ở miền núi, còn người Ca-na-an thì ở bờ biển và dọc sông Gio-đan.”	ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ὃτι θρασὺ τὸ ἒθνος τὸ κατοικοῦν ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς, καὶ πόλεις ὀχυραὶ τετειχισμέναι καὶ μεγάλαι σφόδρα, καὶ τὴν γενεὰν Ἐνὰχ ἑωράκαμεν ἐκεῖ·	עֲמָלֵ֥ק יוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּאֶ֣רֶץ הַנֶּ֑גֶב וְ֠הַֽחִתִּי וְהַיְבוּסִ֤י וְהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב בָּהָ֔ר וְהַֽכְּנַעֲנִי֙ יֹשֵׁ֣ב עַל הַיָּ֔ם וְעַ֖ל יַ֥ד הַיַּרְדֵּֽן	sed cultores fortissimos habet, et urbes grandes atque muratas. Stirpem Enac vidimus ibi.	Amalek dwells in the land of the South. The Hittite, the Jebusite, and the Amorite dwell in the hill country. The Canaanite dwells by the sea, and along the side of the Jordan.”
30	Amalec dwelleth in the south, the Hethite and the Jebusite and the Amorrhite in the mountains: but the Chanaanite abideth by the sea and near the streams of the Jordan.	Bấy giờ ông Ca-lếp truyền cho dân đang phản đối ông Mô-sê phải im lặng, ông nói: “Ta cứ lên chiếm miền ấy, vì chắc chắn ta có thể thắng được.”	καὶ Ἀμαλὴκ κατοικεῖ ἐν τῇ γῇ τῇ πρὸς νότον, καὶ ὁ Χετταῖος καὶ ὁ Εὑαῖος καὶ ὁ Ἰεβουσαῖος καὶ ὁ Ἀμορραῖος κατοικεῖ ἐν τῇ ὀρεινῇ, καὶ ὁ Χαναναῖος κατοικεῖ παρὰ θάλασσαν.	וַיַּ֧הַס כָּלֵ֛ב אֶת הָעָ֖ם אֶל מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר עָלֹ֤ה נַעֲלֶה֙ וְיָרַ֣שְׁנוּ אֹתָ֔הּ כִּֽי יָכ֥וֹל נוּכַ֖ל לָֽהּ	Amalec habitat in meridie, Hethæus et Jebusæus et Amorrhæus in montanis: Chananæus vero moratur juxta mare et circa fluenta Jordanis.	Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, “Let’s go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it!”
31	In the mean time Caleb, to still the murmuring of the people that rose against Moses, said: Let us go up and possess the land, for we shall be able to conquer it. But the men who went up with him said, “We aren’t able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.”
32	But the others, that had been with him, said: No, we are not able to go up to this people, because they are stronger than we.	Trước mặt con cái Ít-ra-en, họ bắt đầu chê bai miền đất họ đã do thám, họ nói: “Miền đất chúng ta đã đi qua để do thám là đất nuốt những người ở đó, và tất cả những người chúng tôi thấy ở đó đều là những người cao lớn.	καὶ οἱ ἄνθρωποι οἱ συναναβάντες μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἶπαν Οὐκ ἀναβαίνομεν, ὅτι οὐ μὴ δυνώμεθα ἀναβῆναι πρὸς τὸ ἔθνος· ὅτι ἰσχυρότερόν ἐστιν ἡμῶν μᾶλλον.	וַיּוֹצִ֜יאוּ דִּבַּ֤ת הָאָ֨רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תָּר֣וּ אֹתָ֔הּ אֶל בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר הָאָ֡רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֩ עָבַ֨רְנוּ בָ֜הּ לָת֣וּר אֹתָ֗הּ אֶ֣רֶץ אֹכֶ֤לֶת יוֹשְׁבֶ֨יהָ֙ הִ֔וא וְכָל הָעָ֛ם אֲשֶׁר רָאִ֥ינוּ בְתוֹכָ֖הּ אַנְשֵׁ֥י מִדּֽוֹת	Alii vero, qui fuerant cum eo, dicebant: Nequaquam ad hunc populum valemus ascendere, quia fortior nobis est.	They brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out to the children of Israel, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people who we saw in it are men of great stature.
33	And they spoke ill of the land, which they had viewed, before the children of Israel, saying: The land which we have viewed, devoureth its inhabitants: the people, that we beheld, are of a tall stature. Chúng tôi thấy mình chỉ như châu chấu, và họ cũng coi chúng tôi như vậy.”	καὶ ἐξήνεγκαν ἔκστασιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἣν κατεσκέψαντο αὐτὴν πρὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ λέγοντες Τὴν γῆν ἣν παρήλθομεν αὐτὴν κατασκέψασθαι, γῆ κατέσθουσα τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἐστίν· πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ὃν ἑωράκαμεν ἐν αὐτῇ ἄνδρες ὑπερμήκεις ἐκεῖ·	וְשָׁ֣ם רָאִ֗ינוּ אֶת הַנְּפִילִ֛ים בְּנֵ֥י עֲנָ֖ק מִן הַנְּפִלִ֑ים וַנְּהִ֤י בְעֵינֵ֨ינוּ֙ כַּֽחֲגָבִ֔ים וְכֵ֥ן הָיִ֖ינוּ בְּעֵינֵיהֶֽם	Detraxeruntque terræ, quam inspexerant, apud filios Israël, dicentes: Terra, quam lustravimus, devorat habitatores suos: populus, quem aspeximus, proceræ staturæ est.	There we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim. We were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”
34	There we saw certain monsters of the sons of Enac, of the giant kind: in comparison of whom, we seemed like locusts.	—	καὶ ἐκεῖ ἑωράκαμεν τοὺς γίγαντας, καὶ ἦμεν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν ὡσεὶ ἀκρίδες· ἀλλὰ καὶ οὕτως ἦμεν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν.	—	Ibi vidimus monstra quædam filiorum Enac de genere giganteo: quibus comparati, quasi locustæ videbamur.	—
