And saith to them: Go into the village that is over against you, and immediately at your coming in thither, you shall find a colt tied, upon which no man yet hath sat: loose him, and bring him. | and said to them, “Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him and bring him.
And if any man shall say to you, What are you doing? say ye that the Lord hath need of him: and immediately he will let him come hither. | Nếu có ai bảo: ‘Tại sao các anh làm như vậy?’, thì cứ nói là Chúa cần đến nó và Người sẽ gửi lại đây ngay.” | If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs him;’ and immediately he will send him back here.”
And going their way, they found the colt tied before the gate without, in the meeting of two ways: and they loose him. | Et abeuntes invenerunt pullum ligatum ante januam foris in bivio: et solvunt eum. | They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.
And some of them that stood there, said to them: What do you loosing the colt? | Some of those who stood there asked them, “What are you doing, untying the young donkey?”
Who said to them as Jesus had commanded them; and they let him go with them. | Hai ông trả lời như Đức Giê-su đã dặn. Và họ để mặc các ông. | They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.
And they brought the colt to Jesus; and they lay their garments on him, and he sat upon him. | They brought the young donkey to Jesus and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.

And they that went before and they that followed, cried, saying: Hosanna, blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. | καὶ οἱ προάγοντες καὶ οἱ ἀκολουθοῦντες ⸀ἔκραζον· Ὡσαννά· Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου· | Et qui præibant, et qui sequebantur, clamabant, dicentes: Hosanna: benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini: | Those who went in front and those who followed cried out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David that cometh: Hosanna in the highest. | Chúc tụng triều đại đang tới, triều đại vua Đa-vít, tổ phụ chúng ta. Hoan hô trên các tầng trời!” | benedictum quod venit regnum patris nostri David: hosanna in excelsis. | Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord! For it was not the time for figs. | Trông thấy ở đàng xa có một cây vả tốt lá, Người đến xem có tìm được trái nào không. | Seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came to see if perhaps he might find anything on it. | 23 | Amen I say to you, that whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the sea, and shall not stagger in his heart, but believe, that whatsoever he saith shall be done; it shall be done unto him. | Amen dico vobis, quia quicumque dixerit huic monti: Tollere, et mittere in mare, et non hæsitaverit in corde suo, sed crediderit, quia quodcumque dixerit fiat, fiet ei. | For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive; and they shall come unto you. | Vì thế, Thầy nói với anh em: tất cả những gì anh em cầu xin, anh em cứ tin là mình đã được rồi, thì sẽ được như ý. | Propterea dico vobis, omnia quæcumque orantes petitis, credite quia accipietis, et evenient vobis. | Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
And when you shall stand to pray, forgive, if you have aught against any man; that your Father also, who is in heaven, may forgive you your sins. | Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.
But if you will not forgive, neither will your Father that is in heaven, forgive you your sins. | But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

Et cum ambularet in templo, accedunt ad eum summi sacerdotes, et scribæ, et seniores: | They came again to Jerusalem, and as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to him, |
And they say to him: By what authority dost thou these things? and who hath given thee this authority that thou shouldst do these things? | καὶ ⸀ἔλεγον αὐτῷ· Ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ ταῦτα ποιεῖς; ⸀ἢ τίς σοι ⸂ἔδωκεν τὴν ἐξουσίαν ταύτην⸃ ἵνα ταῦτα ποιῇς; | et dicunt ei: In qua potestate hæc facis? et quis dedit tibi hanc potestatem ut ista facias? | and they began saying to him, “By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”
And Jesus answering, said to them: I will also ask you one word, and answer you me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. | Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me. | Vậy, phép rửa của ông Gio-an là do Trời hay do người ta? Các ông trả lời cho tôi đi!” | Baptismus Joannis, de cælo erat, an ex hominibus? Respondete mihi. | The baptism of John—was it from heaven, or from men? Answer me.”
But they thought with themselves, saying: If we say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did you not believe him? | καὶ ⸀διελογίζοντο πρὸς ἑαυτοὺς λέγοντες· ⸂Τί εἴπωμεν;⸃ ἐὰν εἴπωμεν· Ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἐρεῖ· Διὰ τί ⸀οὖν οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ; | At illi cogitabant secum, dicentes: Si dixerimus: De cælo, dicet: Quare ergo non credidistis ei? | They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we should say, ‘From heaven;’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
If we say, From men, we fear the people. For all men counted John that he was a prophet indeed. | Nhưng chẳng lẽ mình nói: ‘Do người ta’?” Họ sợ dân chúng, vì ai nấy đều cho ông Gio-an thật là một ngôn sứ. | Si dixerimus: Ex hominibus, timemus populum: omnes enim habebant Joannem quia vere propheta esset. | If we should say, ‘From men’”—they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.
And they answering, say to Jesus: We know not. And Jesus answering, saith to them: Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things. | Et respondentes dicunt Jesu: Nescimus. Et respondens Jesus ait illis: Neque ego dico vobis in qua potestate hæc faciam. | They answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
