You and Aaron shall count them by their divisions. |

| 18 | And assembled them on the first day of the second month, reckoning them up by the kindreds, and houses, and families, and heads, and names of every one from twenty years old and upward, | và triệu tập toàn thể cộng đồng vào ngày mồng một tháng hai. Người ta xác định phổ hệ theo thị tộc và gia tộc, lập danh sách những người đàn ông, từ hai mươi tuổi trở lên, từng người một. | καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν συναγωγὴν συνήγαγον ἐν μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ δευτέρου ἔτους, καὶ ἐπηξονοῦσαν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν, κατὰ πατριὰς αὐτῶν, κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ὀνομάτων αὐτῶν, ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω, πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν. | וְאֵ֨ת כָּל הָעֵדָ֜ה הִקְהִ֗ילוּ בְּאֶחָד֙ לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וַיִּתְיַֽלְד֥וּ עַל מִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֑ם בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר שֵׁמ֗וֹת מִבֶּ֨ן עֶשְׂרִ֥ים שָׁנָ֛ה וָמַ֖עְלָה לְגֻלְגְּלֹתָֽם | et congregaverunt primo die mensis secundi, recensentes eos per cognationes, et domos, ac familias, et capita, et nomina singulorum a vigesimo anno et supra, | They assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month; and they declared their ancestry by their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, one by one. |

| 47 | But the Levites in the tribes of their families were not numbered with them. | Còn các thầy Lê-vi, vì quy chế chi tộc của mình, thì không được liệt kê vào số đó. | Οἱ δὲ Λευεῖται ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς τῆς πατριᾶς αὐτῶν οὐκ ἐπεσκέπησαν ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ. | וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם לְמַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתָ֑ם לֹ֥א הָתְפָּקְד֖וּ בְּתוֹכָֽם | Levitæ autem in tribu familiarum suarum non sunt numerati cum eis. | But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not counted among them. |

| 49 | Number not the tribe of Levi, neither shalt thou put down the sum of them with the children of Israel: | “Riêng chi tộc Lê-vi, ngươi sẽ không kiểm tra và không liệt kê chung với con cái Ít-ra-en. | Ὅρα τὴν φυλὴν τὴν Λευεὶ οὐ συνεπισκέψῃ, καὶ τὸν ἀριθμὸν αὐτῶν οὐ λήμψῃ ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ. | אַ֣ךְ אֶת מַטֵּ֤ה לֵוִי֙ לֹ֣א תִפְקֹ֔ד וְאֶת רֹאשָׁ֖ם לֹ֣א תִשָּׂ֑א בְּת֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל | Tribum Levi noli numerare, neque pones summam eorum cum filiis Israël: | “Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, neither shall you take a census of them among the children of Israel; |
| 50 | But appoint them over the tabernacle of the testimony, and all the vessels thereof, and whatsoever pertaineth to the ceremonies. They shall carry the tabernacle and all the furniture thereof: and they shall minister, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle. | Nhưng hãy đặt các thầy Lê-vi phụ trách Nhà Tạm Chứng Ước, cũng như mọi vật dụng và tất cả những gì liên quan tới Nhà Tạm đó. Chính họ sẽ lo việc di chuyển Nhà Tạm và mọi vật dụng, sẽ phục vụ và dựng lều chung quanh Nhà Tạm. | καὶ σὺ ἐπίστησον τοὺς Λευείτας ἐπὶ τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτῇ. αὐτοὶ ἀροῦσιν τὴν σκηνὴν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς, καὶ αὐτοὶ λειτουργήσουσιν ἐν αὐτῇ, καὶ κύκλῳ τῆς σκηνῆς παρεμβαλοῦσιν. | וְאַתָּ֡ה הַפְקֵ֣ד אֶת הַלְוִיִּם֩ עַל מִשְׁכַּ֨ן הָעֵדֻ֜ת וְעַ֣ל כָּל כֵּלָיו֮ וְעַ֣ל כָּל אֲשֶׁר לוֹ֒ הֵ֜מָּה יִשְׂא֤וּ אֶת הַמִּשְׁכָּן֙ וְאֶת כָּל כֵּלָ֔יו וְהֵ֖ם יְשָׁרְתֻ֑הוּ וְסָבִ֥יב לַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן יַחֲנֽוּ | sed constitue eos super tabernaculum testimonii et cuncta vasa ejus, et quidquid ad cæremonias pertinet. Ipsi portabunt tabernaculum et omnia utensilia ejus: et erunt in ministerio, ac per gyrum tabernaculi metabuntur. | but appoint the Levites over the Tabernacle of the Testimony, and over all its furnishings, and over all that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings; and they shall take care of it, and shall encamp around it. |
| 51 | When you are to go forward, the Levites shall take down the tabernacle: when you are to camp, they shall set it up. What stranger soever cometh to it, shall be slain. | Khi dời Nhà Tạm, các thầy Lê-vi sẽ hạ Nhà Tạm xuống, và lúc Nhà Tạm dừng lại thì họ sẽ dựng Nhà Tạm lên. Còn ai khác mà tới gần sẽ phải chết. | καὶ ἐν τῷ ἐξαίρειν τὴν σκηνὴν καθελοῦσιν αὐτὴν οἱ Λευεῖται, καὶ ἐν τῷ παρεμβάλλειν τὴν σκηνὴν ἀναστήσουσιν· καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ προσπορευόμενος ἀποθανέτω. | וּבִנְסֹ֣עַ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ן יוֹרִ֤ידוּ אֹתוֹ֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם וּבַחֲנֹת֙ הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן יָקִ֥ימוּ אֹת֖וֹ הַלְוִיִּ֑ם וְהַזָּ֥ר הַקָּרֵ֖ב יוּמָֽת | Cum proficiscendum fuerit, deponent Levitæ tabernaculum; cum castrametandum, erigent. Quisquis externorum accesserit, occidetur. | When the tabernacle is to move, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites shall set it up. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death. |
| 52 | And the children of Israel shall camp every man by his troops and bands and army. | Con cái Ít-ra-en sẽ dựng lều, mỗi người nơi doanh trại mình, theo cờ hiệu của từng đoàn quân. | καὶ παρεμβαλοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ, ἀνὴρ ἐν τῇ ἑαυτοῦ τάξει καὶ ἀνὴρ κατὰ τὴν ἑαυτοῦ ἡγεμονίαν, σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν· | וְחָנ֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אִ֧ישׁ עַֽל מַחֲנֵ֛הוּ וְאִ֥ישׁ עַל דִּגְל֖וֹ לְצִבְאֹתָֽם | Metabuntur autem castra filii Israël unusquisque per turmas et cuneos atque exercitum suum. | The children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, according to their divisions. |
| 53 | But the Levites shall pitch their tents round about the tabernacle, lest there come indignation upon the multitude of the children of Israel, and they shall keep watch, and guard the tabernacle of the testimony. | Còn các thầy Lê-vi thì sẽ dựng lều chung quanh Nhà Tạm Chứng Ước. Như thế thịnh nộ (của Ta) sẽ không giáng xuống cộng đồng con cái Ít-ra-en. Các thầy Lê-vi sẽ phụ trách Nhà Tạm.” | οἱ δὲ Λευεῖται παρεμβαλέτωσαν ἐναντίον Κυρίου κύκλῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἁμάρτημα ἐν υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ. καὶ φυλάξουσιν οἱ Λευεῖται αὐτοὶ τὴν φυλακὴν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου. | וְהַלְוִיִּ֞ם יַחֲנ֤וּ סָבִיב֙ לְמִשְׁכַּ֣ן הָעֵדֻ֔ת וְלֹֽא יִהְיֶ֣ה קֶ֔צֶף עַל עֲדַ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְשָׁמְרוּ֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֶת מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת מִשְׁכַּ֥ן הָעֵדֽוּת | Porro Levitæ per gyrum tabernaculi figent tentoria, ne fiat indignatio super multitudinem filiorum Israël, et excubabunt in custodiis tabernaculi testimonii. | But the Levites shall encamp around the Tabernacle of the Testimony, that there may be no wrath on the congregation of the children of Israel. The Levites shall be responsible for the Tabernacle of the Testimony.” |
| 54 | And the children of Israel did according to all things which the Lord had commanded Moses. | Con cái Ít-ra-en đã thi hành tất cả mọi điều y như ĐỨC CHÚA đã truyền cho ông Mô-sê. | καὶ ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ κατὰ πάντα ἃ ἐνετείλατο Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ καὶ Ἀαρών, οὕτως ἐποίησαν. | וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֖וּ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֶת מֹשֶׁ֖ה כֵּ֥ן עָשֽׂוּ | Fecerunt ergo filii Israël juxta omnia quæ præceperat Dominus Moysi. | Thus the children of Israel did. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they did. |
